Position Summary: Performs a variety of tasks and analysis around inventory movement and inventory accuracy within the plant. Responsible for execution of inventory adjustments and problem-solving around inventory inaccuracies. Supports process creation and auditing adherence around processes relating to inventory. Essential Job Duties: * Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures. Engaging with leadership on improving safety performance within the department. * Audit adherence to Inventory related processes * Develop and support processes (both physical and virtual) to support accurate inventory counts in SAP * Assist with cycle count program creation and establishment * Responsible for analysis and execution of inventory adjustments * Key contributor for physical Inventories * Ensure transactions are completed to mirror location of inventory within the plant physically and in SAP. * Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum Qualifications * 2+ years of manufacturing experience * Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification * Proficiency with Excel and general computer skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications * Inventory management experience * Experience working with SAP Hourly compensation for this role is $20.00+ per hour. Position Summary: The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist is responsible for producing high quality machined parts using mills and lathes. This position is a full time position based in Ferndale, WA on our Afternoon Shift (Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm). We are currently offering a $1,000 Sign-on bonus for joining our team ($500 at 30 days and $500 at 60 days). The starting wage for this position is commensurate with experience and transferable skills and abilities. Essential Responsibilities: * Set up and operate mechanical equipment including lathes, mills, saws, and hand tools. * Run production, monitoring parts and equipment to ensure accurate high quality parts are made safely and as efficiently as possible. * Complete required paperwork including but not limited to production batches, work orders, time sheets, maintenance log, and transfer sheets. * Assemble parts according to specifications; follow prints or verbal directions to put together parts using hand and power tools and other assembly as necessary. * Use standard shop tools: arbor press, hammer, nails, ruler, tape measure, vise, weigh scale, assembly drawing, and shop prints. * Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished parts. * Follow safe machine shop practices and directions, asking questions as needed to do the assigned work. * Contribute ideas to improve manufacturing processes. Basic Qualifications: * HS Diploma or equivalent and 5yrs machine shop experience or 2yr degree in Machining from technical program (or in process). * Able to perform simple setup tasks (ie., jaw change, tool change). * Experience with common machinist inspection tools. * Able to visually check and monitor machined parts and tooling. * Ability to measure English and metric numbers with shop-provided gauges and established procedures. * Ability to review and work from production schematics and engineering drawings. * Math skills, including understanding of fractions, decimals and the metric system. * Must be able to lift 75lbs. Assembly CNC Machinist Essential Job Responsibilities: * Set-up and operate CNC Lathes adhering to the safety, quality and quantity standards of Aurora Bearing Company. * Perform all duties as assigned in a safe and efficient manner with an emphasis on quality. * Select and Change arbors, fixtures, inserts and tooling. * Program computer for O.D. and I.D. size, facing, chamfering, grooving, drilling or other machining requirements. * Run 1st piece part, make necessary adjustments to attain quality characteristics per print specifications and complete necessary paperwork to attain a set-up approval. * Load parts, cycle machine, check parts at designated intervals and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality characteristics of part per print specifications throughout machining operations. * Package and tag parts, complete all required paperwork including SPC charting. * Move parts to and from work area and scale as needed.
