We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced Convenience store environment. Responsibilities
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately for all transactions.Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and resolving any issues.Handle cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies.Perform merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves and maintaining product displays.Upsell products where appropriate to maximize sales opportunities.Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment.Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels effectively.Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow accurately.Experience in merchandising and stocking is advantageous.Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
