The role requires extensive experience with critical care practices, a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities: Manage care for complex ICU patients, including those with ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, and multiple trauma. Administer IV medications, manage hemodynamic lines, ventilators, and monitor telemetry. Coordinate patient care with resources such as CNAs, charge nurses, RTs, and physicians. Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience excluding travel; first-time travelers not accepted. Must possess BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. Strong preference for cardiac experience. Completion of board-approved nursing education; RN licensed in South Dakota. Proficiency in Epic and Alaris systems, with experience in critical care settings.
