    Global IT Sourcing Specialist

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Global IT Sourcing Specialist to support strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives for technology-related goods and services. This role will focus on sourcing hardware, software, cloud solutions, and IT services while partnering with internal stakeholders and suppliers to negotiate contracts, optimize costs, and ensure continuity of supply.


    The ideal candidate has experience managing the full sourcing lifecycle, including supplier evaluation, contract review, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations. This individual should be comfortable working with senior business stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and driving sourcing strategies that align with organizational objectives.


    Key Responsibilities

    Manage sourcing activities for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and technology-related purchases.Lead supplier evaluations, competitive bidding, and vendor selection processes to achieve quality, cost, and service objectives.Review, analyze, and negotiate supplier agreements, contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.Perform cost analysis, pricing comparisons, and financial evaluations to support sourcing recommendations.Partner with internal business leaders and senior stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.Manage supplier relationships to ensure service quality, contract compliance, and continuity of supply.Support contract administration activities and maintain supplier documentation throughout the sourcing lifecycle.Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and strategic sourcing initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support procurement projects and business objectives.Monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving sourcing, contract, or delivery issues.


    Qualifications

    3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain within an IT or technology environment.Experience sourcing technology products and services, including hardware, software, cloud solutions, or IT services.Strong contract review, negotiation, and supplier management experience.Experience performing pricing analysis, cost analysis, and commercial evaluations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.Experience supporting enterprise technology procurement or global sourcing initiatives.Knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier relationship management, and contract administration.Experience working with cross-functional teams in large corporate environments.

    About the Opportunity

    We're seeking a motivated **Field Computer Technician** to provide onsite hardware support for desktop and laptop computers throughout the North Syracuse metro area.     What You'll Do

    - Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area to perform onsite computer repairs.
    - Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop hardware issues.

    - Other internal hardware components
    - Perform complete system swaps and peripheral replacements when needed.
    - Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and restore systems to working order.
    - Accurately document completed work and close service tickets using a mobile ticketing application.
    - Deliver professional customer service while representing the organization at client locations.

    What We're Looking For

    - 1+ years of hands-on experience repairing laptops and desktop computers.
    - Experience performing break/fix hardware repairs in a field or technical support environment.
    - Comfortable replacing major hardware components such as motherboards, LCDs, storage drives, and keyboards.
    - Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
    - Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
    - Ability to work independently while effectively managing a daily service schedule.
    - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    - Experience building or upgrading computers is a plus.

    Requirements

    - U.S. Citizenship is required due to work performed within government and federal facilities.
    - Reliable personal vehicle with valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
    - Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service territory (approximately 250–350 miles per week). Mileage between customer locations is reimbursed.
    - Ability to complete required technical training and certifications after selection.
    - Ability to successfully pass required background and drug screening.
