    Thompson First Group is seeking a Warehouse/Counter Sales for a local client in Camden, DE.

    Candidates with a background working in counter sales, have experience in HVAC or Plumbing equipment and/or have operated a forklift, are encourage to apply.

    Warehouse Clerk Duties:

    Pick customer orders & transfers using RF scannerEnsure orders are properly packed and labeledSafely operate lift trucks - electric and gasLoad/unload product efficiently and accurately; assemble in identified areaVerify product and product count is accurateUtilize proper PPE (i.e. safety shoes, gloves, safety harness, ladders)Housekeeping duties as part of daily routine or as directed

    Counter Sales Duties:

    Follow company policy for returned goods and warrantiesWork with other departments for timely resolution of customer service issuesService customers at the counter by taking orders and entering them with accuracy and efficiencyIncrease sales and average order size by cross selling, add–on sales and by offering promotional sales items a well as new productsPromote and sell overages, discontinued items and commission specialsHandle complaints and returns, maintain a positive relationship with the customerKeep counter area inventory stocked; remove or add inventory items to create additional salesFollow company policy for cash, credit card sales, and check acceptancePractice proper PPE (i.e. safety shoes, gloves, safety harness, ladders)

    The ideal candidate will possess the following:

    Minimum 3 years of Warehouse ExperienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be flexible, organized and self-motivatingMust demonstrate attention to detailExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Must be able to operate lift trucksSafely lift a minimum of 50 pounds, walk 1-3 miles on a daily basis, reach/grasp itemsOperate a computer based inventory system

    Thompson First Group is seeking a Forklift Mechanic/Heavy Duty Mechanic for a local client in Cinnaminson, NJ.

    Job Purpose:

    To maintain the company's forklifts consisting of diesel, propane and electric. Maintain equipment such as rollbacks, box trucks, trailers and other lightweight vehicles. Also maintain shop machinery and equipment.

    Job Summary:

    This position reports to the Equipment Maintenance Manager. It requires a blend of skills and experience that are specifically focused on fork truck, vehicle, and production equipment maintenance. Also responsible for managing maintenance on shop machinery and equipment. Mechanics are expected to furnish their basic tools like wrenches, pliers, sockets, screwdrivers, etc.

    Responsibilities:

    Accident prevention – actively identify, correct and/or report safety hazards to prevent accidents.Actively identify and pursue cost reduction and efficiency/profit improvement opportunities.Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the Sea Box Quality Policy calling for self-inspection of your work product.Maintain Doosan and Hyster fork trucks, including preventative maintenance.Maintain air compressors, including preventative maintenance.Repair and maintain paint pumps, rivet guns and shop equipment.Work collaboratively with shop personnel to maintain building and equipment items.Lifting production objects of up to 50lbs.Performs other duties as assigned.Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.

A successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engine repair. Experience working with Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Tigercat equipment is a plus but not required.

    Responsibilities:

    Use diagnostic computers on Mack, Volvo, International trucks as well as automotive vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical issues.Welding and repairs.Hydraulics trouble shooting.Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical systems and components.Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair operations.Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including documentation of work completed and parts used.Stay up to date with the latest OEM guidelines and best practices for heavy equipment maintenance and repair.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner.Follow all company safety policies, procedures and safety regulations as well as use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.Safe use of power and handheld tools expectations in product quality, customer service, and market growth.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
