As a Field Engineer, you'll play a critical role in supporting on-site construction operations for multifamily development projects. Working closely with project leadership, you'll help ensure construction activities stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety standards.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role offering exposure to all phases of the construction process. If you enjoy being in the field, collaborating with trade partners, and solving problems in real time, this role provides an excellent foundation for a long-term career in construction management.
Key Responsibilities
Support project teams with site safety, scheduling, cost tracking, quality control, and punch list completion Complete, update, and properly file quality control documentation Assist with coordination of material deliveries and logistics Help manage assigned trades or scopes of work from start through final punch Provide day-to-day coordination and oversight of subcontractors and trade partners Assist with punch list execution as directed by site management Track and report daily subcontractor headcount by trade Promote job site safety, cleanliness, and organization Document construction progress through daily and weekly site photos Assist the project team as needed to support successful project executionOur Ideal Candidate
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 1 year of construction experience; relevant internships or hands-on experience may be consideredTechnical & Job Knowledge
Basic understanding of construction terminology, drawings, and field processes Exposure to construction scheduling, cost tracking, and job site safety Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar construction software is a plusSkills & Attributes
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction environment Receptive to feedback and able to follow direction to ensure successful task completionRequired Certifications

First Aid / CPR OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety & Health TrainingWork Environment & Physical Demands
This position requires regular presence on active construction sites, including the ability to walk uneven terrain and lift up to 25 lbs. Work may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions, power tools, loud environments, and moving equipment. All work must be performed in compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.
