Thomas Taft Salon is looking for a talented, motivated, and client-focused Hair Artist to join our team.
We are a busy, established NYC salon with a warm, creative, and professional culture. Our salon is built on beautiful hair, elevated service, teamwork, and making every client feel cared for from the moment they walk in.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hair, eager to grow, and excited to be part of a salon that values education, professionalism, and long-term career development.
What were looking for:
A licensed Hair Artist who loves creating beautiful color, cuts, styling, treatments, and customized looks for all hair types and textures. You should be friendly, reliable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
Providing excellent client experiences from consultation to finishPerforming haircuts, color services, blowouts, styling, treatments, and other salon servicesEducating clients on home care, products, and maintenanceRebooking and helping build long-term client relationshipsSupporting salon retail goals and recommending products with confidenceMaintaining a clean, organized, and professional stationParticipating in salon education, meetings, and team eventsHelping create a positive, polished, and welcoming salon environment

Schedule:
Full-time or part-time opportunities available. Weekends may be required.
Compensation:
