    Position: Project Manager

    Status: Full-time, regular

    Compensation: Salary of $70,000 to $85,000 plus a targeted bonus of up to $9,000 per year

    Supervisor: Project Management Team Lead

    Hours: The company’s office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. This position regularly requires significant engagement beyond/outside of these days and hours, according to business needs.

    Location: 601 W Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60661 and throughout the greater Chicago area

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and implements the order, delivery, and installation of contract furniture projects.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Serve as single point of contact for, and coordinate with, client, architect, general contractor, subcontractors, building manager, movers, installers, and project management company as required.Direct, coordinate and manage task assignments and completion for entire dealer team.Develop work plan, schedule, and logistics based on overall project parameters, project schedule and scope, and customer’s goals.Maintain detailed project documentation, including documentation of key project decisions, customer requests, project revisions, etc.Provide timely, formal written communications throughout project to client, dealer and project team.Review specifications with project designer and determine order organization and phasing.Verify field measurements and coordinate core locations and power requirements.Coordinate change orders once order has been placed.Review ship dates for adherence to project schedule.Attend project construction meetings and verify site readiness for delivery and installation. (This may include travel out of state.)Coordinate and schedule delivery and installation of product.Provide packing list for warehouse team and site logistics plan for delivery and installation team.Review install drawings with project designer and lead installer.Supervise site installation for accuracy and timeliness.Identify punch items and oversee punch list resolution.Other duties, as assigned

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Thomas Interiors is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the company's Operational Excellence, Digital Transformation, and AI Enablement initiatives. This role serves as the bridge between business operations and technology, helping identify, evaluate, and implement solutions that improve business processes, optimize workflows, enhance reporting, and leverage technology to increase organizational efficiency and scalability.

     

    Reporting to the Chief Operations Strategist, the Business Systems Analyst will serve as a cross-functional resource, partnering with leaders across the organization to evaluate business challenges, recommend practical solutions, coordinate implementations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role will support projects related to business systems, workflow optimization, process improvement, reporting and business intelligence, systems integration, automation, change management, and internal AI adoption.

     

    This position is ideal for an individual who is highly curious, analytical, process-oriented, and passionate about leveraging technology, automation, and data to improve how organizations operate. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution while helping Thomas Interiors continue to build a more connected, efficient, and scalable organization.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Business Systems & Process ImprovementEvaluate, optimize, and support the continued evolution of Thomas Interiors' business systems, technology platforms, and digital tools.Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, reporting, and operational performance through better system utilization, workflow optimization, and technology.Assist in evaluating, documenting, and improving operational workflows, communication processes, SOPs, and cross-functional business processes.Support integrations between CORE and other internal and third-party business applications to improve data flow and operational visibility.Research, evaluate, recommend, and assist in implementing business systems and technology solutions aligned with Thomas Interiors' operational strategy and long-term growth.Automation, AI & Digital TransformationSupport Thomas Interiors' Digital Transformation, AI, and Operational Excellence initiatives.Research, evaluate, test, and assist in implementing AI, automation, reporting, and integration technologies.Participate in pilot programs and phased implementations utilizing tools such as:Microsoft CopilotChatGPTPower AutomatePower BIMake.comOther business systems, reporting, and integration platformsIdentify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and enhance the employee and the client experience.Reporting & Business IntelligenceSupport the development of dashboards, KPI reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.Analyze operational data to improve visibility, decision-making, and organizational performance.Assist leadership in developing reporting tools that enhance accountability and operational insights.Implementation, Change Management & User AdoptionSupport implementation of new business systems, technology initiatives, and process improvements across the organization.Assist with user testing, training, demonstrations, and adoption of new technologies and best practices.Support change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation and long-term adoption.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with leadership and departments across the organization to understand business needs and support technology initiatives.Coordinate with software vendors, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.Help prioritize technology initiatives based on business value, operational impact, and organizational priorities.Serve as a bridge between business operations and technology, helping translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.

    EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:Business AnalysisBusiness SystemsWorkflow / Process ImprovementOperationsDigital TransformationConsultingTechnology EnablementExperience supporting ERP or business systems preferred.Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Power Platform.Experience with reporting platforms such as Power BI preferred.Exposure to AI platforms including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies preferred.Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate or Make.com is a plus.Strong documentation, presentation, and project coordination skills.Commercial interiors, dealership, construction, manufacturing, distribution, or project-based business experience is a plus.

    Hours: The company’s office hours are 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. This position sometimes requires engagement as early as 7:00 a.m., which is when many of the installations in the field begin.

    Compensation: $58,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on relevant knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Project Coordinator plans, coordinates, and implements the order, delivery, and installation of small to mid-sized contract furniture projects.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Direct, coordinate and manage task assignments and completion for entire dealer team.Coordinate and schedule delivery and installation of product.Provide timely, formal written communications throughout project to client, dealer and project team.External: Coordinate with client, property manager, and contractors as required.Internal: Coordinate with salespeople, order coordinators, warehouse, delivery drivers, and installers.Obtain delivery and installation quotes.Review ship dates for adherence to project schedule and maintain status report.Monitor receipt of product to installation vendor’s warehouse.Confirm any delivery requirements at the destination, including site conditions and COI’s.When required, coordinate electrical integration with furniture.Assemble installation packets and send to installation company.Communicate with installer at beginning and end of installation and field questions as required.Identify punch items and oversee punch list resolution.Enter intermarket orders and upload supporting documents.Monitor service email box and communicate with customers/vendors to complete warranty/service requests.Train and mentor other team members as assigned.Enter and invoice customer orders in CORE (the company’s business system).

     

    SKILLS + ABILITIES:
