Thera Greek Frozen Yogurt is looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Staff member to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and quality while supporting our team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout the day.Maintain a spotless kitchen, including floors, counters, equipment, doors, glass, and workstations.Assist with preparing toppings and other basic food prep.Support the front-of-house team as needed during busy periods.Restock toppings, supplies, and kitchen essentials.Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.Properly store ingredients and dispose of waste.Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus, but not required.Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to cleanliness and organization.Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsabilidades
Lavar platos, utensilios y equipos de cocina de manera eficiente durante toda la jornada.Mantener limpias en todo momento las mesas, pisos, mostradores, puertas, vidrios, equipos y áreas de trabajo.Apoyar en la preparación de toppings y otras tareas básicas de preparación de alimentos.Brindar apoyo al equipo de atención al cliente cuando sea necesario.Reabastecer toppings, suministros e insumos de cocina.Cumplir con las normas de higiene, manipulación de alimentos y seguridad alimentaria.Almacenar correctamente los ingredientes y desechar los residuos de manera adecuada.Mantener un ambiente de trabajo seguro, limpio y organizado.Colaborar con el equipo para asegurar el buen funcionamiento de las operaciones diarias.
Requisitos

Previous experience in an ice cream, frozen yogurt, gelato, or similar frozen dessert shop is strongly preferredAbility to maintain areas clean at ALL times, and to leave the store clean at closing.Experience operating, cleaning, and maintaining frozen yogurt or soft serve machines is highly preferredExperience with Carpigiani machines is a major plus and will be given priority considerationBarista experienceUnderstanding of food safety, sanitation, and equipment cleaning proceduresAbility to maintain product quality and consistency while following operating standardsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and detail-orientedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysJoin us today to become part of this Greek experience!
