    Week Shift: Monday- Friday 6:00am - 2:30pmThe Tile Shop is now hiring in their Distribution Center for a Production Assembler 1. Producing high quality display boards for The Tile Shop retail showrooms.Job Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Convey boards or materials from production areas to designated areas.Mix the required grout type and color as directed or per board production sheet.Apply grout to tile joints using floats or other tools.Remove excess grout from boards using damp sponges and other materials.Lift, move, sort, carry or place finished boards in/out of rolling carts.Apply labels to boards as directed or per board production sheet.Use industrial equipment such as sit-down forklift, pallet jack, rolling carts, etc.Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to material type.Uses warehouse management and RF system to pick and pack boards.Able to secure boards for shipping to avoid damage.Ability to inspect, use and maintain equipment in good working order.Lift, move, sort, carry or place materials and items onto/off of pallets or crates.Ensure that all pallets and items are clearly and accurately labeled.Responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.Other duties as assigned.Work in other departments as neededKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Motivation:  Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles.Planning/Organizing:  Uses time efficiently and keeps work areas organized.Professionalism:  Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.Safety and Security:  Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Adaptability:  Adapts to changes in the work environment (inside, outside, dusty environment, elevated levels); Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Attendance:  Is consistently at work and on time.     The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting and delivering tile and related products from the company's distribution centers to The Tile Shop retail stores and occasionally delivering loads for outside companies. He/She will make long, intercity and/or interstate deliveries with frequent overnight routes.Job Description

    Pick up and deliver loads as required.Check fuel and oil levels.Perform pre-trip inspections.Overall maintenance and regular servicing of the truck.Maintain daily logs and inspection paperwork and submit all paperwork daily or as required.Use time efficiently to maintain schedule and all day to day responsibilities.Adapt and react well to frequent changes in schedule and unexpected delays including weather related. Accountable for the overall cleanliness of the truck and trailer.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

    Valid, clean CDL driver’s licenseHigh school diploma or GED.Basic mathematical skills.Ability to work safely and conscientiously.Ability to pass all DOT drug/alcohol screens and possess a current DOT medical card.Ability to work independently and overcome obstacles in a professional manner.Ability to communicate in a professional manner with other employees, vendors, customers, supervisors and managers.Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform job functions.CDL-A with double/triples endorsementMust be able to operate a manual transmissionWilling to stay out 2-3 nights per weekMechanically inclinedAbility to pallet jack loads as neededElog experience is a plusPay $23-$32 DOE

    Produces, manufacturers, and distributes setting materials and products for the hard surface flooring industry.Responsibilities:Accurately label packaging.Operate canner/bag filler and heat sealer.Set up and operate packers.Set up and operate palletizer.Fill colorant and other containers, assemble kits.Operate bottle-filling equipment.Familiar with all raw material and packaging locations.Uses warehouse management and RF system to pick, pack, and palletize materials for orders.Conveys materials and items from raw material storage areas to production or other designated areas.Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to product type.Lift, move, sort, carry or place materials and items onto and off of pallets.Convey pallets, boxes, and items from bin locations to staging areas, build areas or pallets.Perform equipment checklists at the start of the shift.Ability to correctly use a variety of equipment including but not limited to sit-down forklift, wrapping machine, etc.Able to securely band and/or wrap pallets in a timely fashion.Ensure that all pallets and items are clearly and accurately labeled.Use wireless RF device or desktop computer to perform all necessary functions.Participates in cycle counting and Physical Inventory.Responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
