We are looking for a Senior Operations Lead to drive operational efficiency, streamline processes, and support company growth. This role requires a strategic leader with deep experience in program execution, financial management, and scaling operations to meet the demands of a rapidly growing defense company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers, ensuring alignment with mission-critical objectives. This position will be on a Corporate site with travel to customer sites in the DC Metro Area. Responsibilities: Lead operational planning and execution, ensuring efficiency across cross-functional teams Streamline processes by integrating best practices and aligning operations across multiple organizations Oversee program execution, tracking milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics Maintain in-depth expertise in full lifecycle budgeting, both at the corporate and program level, ensuring financial discipline and long-term sustainability Work closely with leadership to develop and implement operational strategies that support business growth and scalability Drive company scaling efforts, optimizing internal operations to support expansion in the defense sector Ensure compliance with government contracts, regulations, and policies, with a deep understanding of IC and DoD requirements Support business development efforts, including proposal coordination, pricing strategies, and operational readiness for new contracts Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring adaptability in a fast-paced environment Assist leadership with internal and external reporting, providing insights on operational effectiveness Facilitate collaboration between program managers, contracting teams, and technical staff to ensure smooth execution and alignment with mission objectives Requirements: Experience working with Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD customers, understanding their unique operational and contractual requirements Strong background in program execution, financials, and compliance within the defense industry Proven ability to manage full lifecycle budgeting at both corporate and program levels Experience scaling a company, including optimizing internal processes, resource planning, and operational efficiency Ability to integrate and streamline processes across multiple teams or organizations Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance required Desired Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, operations, finance, or a related field Professional certifications such as PMP or DAWIA III are a plus Experience working within DoD acquisition, logistics, or program management The Swift Group and Subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
