SUMMARY:Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances to supply electrical power for lighting and equipment operation.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience of not less than two years working as an electrician in industry or the military is also required with four years experience preferred. Knowledge, understanding and the ability to research, read, comprehend and apply applicable codes and ordinances is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English is required. Communication includes both verbal and written skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with other tradesmen as well as peers, supervision and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Simple mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Must also have the ability to understand concepts such as diameter, radius, circumference, etcetera.
REASONING ABILITY:Must have a good sense of both electrical and mechanical systems and understands the concepts that make them operate in a safe and efficient condition.

Summary:

The Superintendent enforces quality control for construction and does not have the authority for financial agreements.
Supervisory Role:
Supervise subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and Assistant-Superintendents.Ensure adequate manpower and compliant work.Monitor project security personnel.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

This role involves building and repairing structures in and around water, often from barges or piers.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct, install, and repair docks, seawalls, boardwalks, bulkheads, and marine framing systems.Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and project plans.Operate power tools and heavy equipment (e.g., pile drivers, augers, lifts, saws).Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials accurately.Work with treated lumber, composite decking, concrete forms, and marine hardware.Perform work from barges, boats, scaffolding, or directly in the water as needed.Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards.Assist with general labor tasks as needed on the job site.Requirements:
