    Field Construction Assistant

    Roof Depot is hiring a Field Construction Assistant to support our Homebuilder Solutions team. This role is built for someone who wants to build a career in construction, take ownership in the field, and be part of a team focused on execution, quality, and accountability.

    What You Will Do

    • Support daily field operations across active residential construction projects

    • Work alongside Area Construction Managers and Field Construction Managers to keep projects on schedule

    • Communicate with crews, suppliers, and builders to resolve issues and keep jobs moving

    • Assist with quality control inspections and safety compliance

    • Help manage material deliveries, shortages, returns, and job site logistics

    • Track project progress from start to completion

    • Support punch list completion, warranty items, and final walkthroughs

    • Assist with material transportation and deliveries when needed

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities

    • Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures to determine the best way for installation of the roofing systems. Ensures specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are followed.

    • Must be able to identify potential problems before they arise and determine as well as implement effective solutions to those potential problems

    • Must ensure that all materials, equipment, and tools are order, delivered, accounted for at each project

    • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule associates and the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, communicating to and via project foreperson
