TITLE: Litigation Associate
Firm X, a mid-sized law firm in the NJ/NY metro area, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Parsippany office. This role offers hands-on experience across a broad range of civil litigation matters in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Manage civil litigation matters from intake through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discoveryConduct legal research and advise clientsRepresent clients in court, arbitrations, and mediationsHandle e-filings in state and federal courtsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courtsNegotiate settlements and assist with case strategy
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law schoolActive New Jersey Bar admission (required)2+ years of litigation experiencePersonal injury defense experienceTrial experienceFederal court/civil rights (Title 59) experience preferredNew York Bar admission - not required
