II. Job Summary (Essential Functions)To maintain the Club’s facilities, equipment, and grounds in safe, clean, and fully operational condition so that members and guests consistently experience a high-quality, functioning private club environment. This includes proactive property inspections, timely repairs, organization of maintenance areas, and collaboration with management on larger needs.
IV. Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)Maintains all maintenance rooms, workshops, storage areas, and tool rooms in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.Conducts regular (daily/ongoing) walkthroughs of the entire Club property (interior and exterior) to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, mechanical problems, or items needing repair or replacement.Performs routine and emergency repairs on Club facilities, equipment, and systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, locks, furniture, fixtures, appliances, lighting, etc.).Develops repair plans for more complex issues, obtains necessary parts or materials, and provides clear updates and cost estimates to management.Creates and maintains a prioritized list of items needing replacement, capital repairs, or preventive maintenanceAssists with janitorial and housekeeping duties as needed, including spill cleanup, trash removal, floor care, and deep cleaning to support overall facility appearance and sanitation.Ensures all Club areas (pool, dining spaces, restrooms, event areas, grounds, etc.) remain fully functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for members and guests.Performs preventive maintenance on key systems (HVAC filters, gutters, awnings, pool equipment, pumps, etc.) according to schedules.Responds promptly to member/guest and staff maintenance requests and emergencies.Maintains accurate records of repairs, inspections, work orders, and inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.Assists with setup and breakdown for Club events, holidays, and special functions as directed.Monitors and reports on the condition of Club equipmentComplies with all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and Club policies; uses proper PPE and maintains a safe work environment.Supervises or coordinates any outsourced maintenance contractors/vendors as directed by management.Participates in the Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation if assigned.Attends department head and staff meetings as required.Performs other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or General Manager.V. To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation throughout the Riviera Club facilities, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for members, guests, and staff. This role supports the Club’s commitment to exceptional hospitality across clubhouse areas, restrooms, event spaces, pool facilities, and common areas.
IV. Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)
Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas including restrooms, locker rooms, outdoor spaces, dining areas, event spaces, offices, and common areas to maintain Club standards.Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces using appropriate equipment and cleaning products.Replenish supplies in restrooms, locker rooms, and other areas (ex. paper products, soap, towels)Report maintenance issues, damages, or needed repairs promptly to the supervisor or maintenance department.Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures per Club policy and regulatory requirements.Assist with deep cleaning, special event setup/teardown preparation, and seasonal deep cleans as needed.Maintain cleanliness around pool, deck, and outdoor areas during operating seasons.Support other housekeeping team members and provide coverage as requiredParticipate in training on new products, techniques, and Club standards.Perform other duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager or General Manager.V. The Riviera Club is a full faceted Club with one of the largest outdoor pools in the country and options to swim indoors during the off-season. Our lifeguards are tasked on creating an environment where all Member’s and their guests that utilize the pool can feel safe and secure when swimming. Our lifeguards are well trained and take pride in creating a welcoming environment and also have the safety of the Club’s Member’s and their guests as their priority.
A Lifeguard’s Responsibilities include
Monitoring all pool activityEnsure the safety of all swimming patronsResponding to emergencies and providing first aid when requiredMaintain professional appearances and proper attireEnsure the pool deck and all equipment/furniture on the pool deck is kept clean and clear of debrisProviding water rescues when the need arises Tending to the locker rooms and providing basic cleaning in the locker rooms and guard shack on a scheduled basisAttend any and all required classes, meetings, or training sessionsKeep the pool clean and clear of debris by using such methods, but not limited to, using skimmers and pool vacuumingKeeping lap lane lines clean and clear of debris and algaePicking up trash and taking trash to the designated dumpsterKeping the Olympic Grass clean of all food and debris and using a hose to clean off dirty areasMonitoring puddles on the pool deck and distributing the water to remove the puddle Administering swim tests for all swim agesFollowing any and all said list and duties giving by Riviera Club ManagementQualifications:
