  • Project Manager (Data Analytics) - VA TAP

    TRG is seeking a qualified Project Manager to lead the TRG Data Analytics Team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transition Assistance Program (TAP) with data-driven program evaluation and performance analytics.This position is currently hybrid with work being performed in Washington, DC, McLean, Virginia, or remotely. Core hours are between 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (ET), Monday through Friday.  
    This position is expected to begin November 18, 2025 and is Contingent upon Contract Award and Favorable Adjudication from the VA Personnel Security and Adjudication Center (PSAC).
    Duties and Responsibilities:· Lead the design, implementation, and management of data analysis and performance evaluation frameworks to support the strategic goals of TAP.· Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of data from various sources and conduct surveys to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in transition services.· Develop executive-level briefings, reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools to communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making.· Collaborate with TAP leadership to design innovative approaches for measuring and improving program components through robust evaluation and analytics.· Direct the development of monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual deliverables such as data analysis reports, data mapping, and updates to performance analysis frameworks· Manage a team of analysts and coordinate closely with other project managers to align analytics with curriculum, training, and operational goals· Ensure compliance with federal data governance, security, and privacy regulations while managing all data operations.· Support strategic planning by providing insights and updates on performance metrics, program effectiveness, and outcome assessments.· Identify and mitigate data-related risks and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of TAP's data and evaluation strategy.
    Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree· Six (6) years of relevant experience in managing data analytics operations

    Duties and Responsibilities:· Lead the daily management of TAP operations across over 330 military installations worldwide, ensuring seamless delivery of VA Benefits and Services to transitioning Service members.· Oversee implementation of the regional hub-and-spoke support model, coordinating physical and virtual deployment of VA Benefits Advisors at high-demand locations.· Ensure program execution aligns with all contractual and federal requirements, including staffing, scheduling, logistics, and adherence to the Project Management Plan (PMP).· Manage operational deliverables including weekly TAP status reports, deployment plans, travel worksheets, and training rosters.· Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support TAP activities such as VA briefings, Capstone events, and pre-separation counseling.· Monitor staffing and training levels across all sites, addressing hiring challenges, onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with background checks and PIV issuance.· Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for operational continuity and quality assurance.· Lead the execution of TAP's Transition Plan to ensure continuity of services during contract transitions and personnel changes.· Support the development and implementation of quality control measures to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
