Director, People Business Partner As the Director, People Business Partner at The RealReal, you will collaborate with the People Team in providing strategic HR support to business leaders. The role will serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to senior leaders on talent planning, performance management, and employee relations. The Director, People Business Partner will lead a team of HR professionals in the development and execution of initiatives related to organizational development, employee engagement, and change management. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of driving HR initiatives that support business growth. What You Get To Do Everyday Build strong relationships with business leaders and act as a trusted strategic advisor to build high performing teams Develop and drive HR strategies and programs aligned with business goals Build a performance-driven culture through consistent performance management, coaching, and counseling initiatives Lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities Provide expertise and support in the areas of talent planning, organizational development, performance management, employee relations Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend data-driven areas for improvement Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in human resources Participate in and lead special projects as a key member of the people leadership team Review, interpret, administer, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures What You Bring To The Role Minimum Requirements: 8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with at least 4 years in a leadership role Expert at building relationships and understanding nuanced employee feedback Thrives in ambiguity with the ability to understand, assess, and make strong recommendations Comfortable in a fast paced environment with the ability to pivot quickly and smoothly Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamics Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and programs Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience leading and developing a team of HR professionals Project management experience Ability to Travel Preferred Requirements: Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred Knowledgeable of Google Suite or Microsoft Suite Compensation, Benefits, + Perks Employee Stock Purchase Plan 401K with Company Match Medical, Dental use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
