Room checks- OPEN ROOMS to make sure they are tour ready and move in ready Identify and prepare for pending admissions-work close with the marketing and admissions department Identify and prepare for pending discharges-work with Social Services on this Review the daily menu-check on residents needs/wants Answer call lights Schedule with families on admission the 72-hour meeting and attend them as well Assist dietary and nursing on passing of snacks if needed Make sure when making rounds that the lounge areas look neat and friendly-no trash, outdated material, clean etc. Maintain a “look who is going home” message board outside the therapy area (if resident gives their approval)-these are success stories to share Answer all questions a family or resident may have (if not able to answer, tell them you will find the answer or have the department follow up with them to answer their questions Notify resident about center activities (i.e., bingo, cooking, entertainment, etc.) Check equipment in the rooms Make sure the rooms are clean Additional jobs as assignedQualifications of Concierge CNA:
