    Position Summary

    The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join a dedicated and experienced surgical and specialty team in Shelton, CT.

    This full-time, permanent opportunity offers a collegial practice environment with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and work-life balance. The physician will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of urologic conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

    Essential Position Responsibilities

    Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of urologic conditions, including urinary tract disorders, kidney stones, prostate disease, and male reproductive health.

    Perform outpatient consultations, procedures, and inpatient surgical interventions.

    Collaborate with primary care providers, surgeons, and oncology teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

    Utilize minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques when appropriate.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

    Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives.

    Educate patients on preventive care and long-term management of urologic health.

    Qualifications

    Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

    Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.

    Experience: Previous clinical or surgical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.

    About the Role

    We are seeking a Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - to join a dynamic Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) team in Seymour, CT. This full-time, on-site opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a nationally recognized EP program, delivering cutting-edge arrhythmia care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

    You will play a vital role in evaluating, managing, and educating patients undergoing electrophysiological procedures or living with complex rhythm disorders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage inpatient consults and follow-ups for patients with arrhythmias and other electrophysiology-related conditions

    Conduct outpatient visits for pre- and post-procedural care and long-term rhythm management

    Interpret EKGs, Holter and event monitors, and cardiac device interrogations (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders)

    Participate in hospital rounding and collaborate with the electrophysiology and cardiology teams

    Provide education and support to patients and families on procedures, medications, and device care

    Support device clinics in coordination with EP techs and nursing staff

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

    Contribute to quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives in EP care

    Qualifications

    Active or eligible licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut

    National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)

    Prior experience in cardiology or electrophysiology preferred (1-2 years ideal)

    Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and working with implanted cardiac devices

    Strong clinical judgment, teamwork skills, and patient-centered mindset

    Ability to function independently within established protocols
