Key Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to optimize production efficiency and product quality. Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements, developing production plans, and ensuring smooth transition from design to production. Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects, non-conformances, and production issues, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow charts, FMEAs, and control plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R D, Quality, Production) to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and implement Lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational performance. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture and tooling design. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment. Experience with root cause analysis and statistical process control (SPC). Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim). Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, SQL) for data analysis or automation. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, digital twins, AI in manufacturing).
