Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking Warehouse Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.Manage and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse.Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to optimize material flow and meet production schedules.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse performance.Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities using relevant software systems.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).Demonstrated experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety compliance in a warehouse setting.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) beyond basic functionality.Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish.
