Key Responsibilities Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate and repair components. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures. Inspect welded joints and structures for quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and internal specifications. Operate and maintain welding equipment, including welders, grinders, and other tools, ensuring proper functionality and safety. Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions to optimize weld quality and production efficiency. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop and improve welding processes and product designs. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Welding Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience. AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Minimum of 3 years of experience in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) within a manufacturing environment. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Strong understanding of metallurgy, weld inspection techniques, and quality control procedures.
