    We are seeking a personable and professional Server to join our team in 2026. As the face of our restaurant, you will create high-quality dining experiences by guiding guests through our menu, providing expert recommendations, and ensuring seamless service from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate is a team player who remains calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Guest Engagement: Greet guests promptly, present menus, and proactively answer questions regarding ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.Order Management: Accurately record food and beverage orders and enter them into the Aloha Point-of-Sale (POS) system; coordinate timing with kitchen and bar staff.Service Excellence: Deliver meals and drinks in a timely, professional manner, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality.Sales & Recommendations: Upsell additional items, such as specialty cocktails, appetizers, and desserts, by making personalized suggestions based on guest preferences.Table Maintenance: Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction, refill drinks, clear used dishes, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.Financial Transactions: Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and issue itemized checks.Operational Support: Complete all assigned side work, including setting tables, polishing silverware, and assisting with opening/closing duties.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience: 6 months to 1+ years of waitstaff or customer service experience in a restaurant setting preferred.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, active listening, and conflict resolution skills.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours) and lift up to 25–50 lbs.Technical Proficiency: Experience with restaurant POS software (Aloha).Certifications: Current food handler and responsible alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS) certifications are a plus.Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
