By providing patients and internal and external stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, youll help ensure that patients at The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology West Endoscopy Center receive the highest value care tailored to their needs. Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Clinical ensure accurate patient identification and specimen verification processes are followed. Document procedural support activities, equipment use, specimen collection, and assigned care tasks accurately and in real time within the electronic medical record (Epic). Support efficient room turnover between cases. Endoscope Reprocessing notify leadership of low inventory. Assist with environmental cleaning between cases. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and competency validation activities. Support compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the departments and other duties as assigned. Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: Level I: $25.14 - $34.02 per hour. Level II: $27.66 - $37.42 per hour. Workdays: This role will be located at the Peterkort Centre. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, with four 10-hour shifts and a day off TBD (7:00 am- 5:30 pm). Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including: Minimum of one (1) year of previous Endoscopy Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant experience is strongly preferred. Specialty GI experience is a plus! Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus! Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask. Excellent attendance and work ethic. Positive attitude and desire to be a team player. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members. A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety. Minimum of two (2) years of nurse practitioner experience preferred. Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus! Strong knowledge of urologic procedures, treatments and terminology. Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
