    The Okonite Company, an employee-owned Manufacturer of medium voltage wire and cable products has an immediate opening for an Experienced Senior Electronic Analyst/Technician in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing support role. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to install, modify, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of equipment and infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must have basic electrical trade skills such as the ability to maintain and install simple electrical circuits, lighting, AC & DC motors and drives, machinery control circuits, building controls and power distribution. In addition, the candidate must have a demonstrated knowledge and experience with automation controls including Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI controls, process controllers, data exchange/communications equipment, analog and digital process devices and various sensors related to machine automation control. PLC programming skills required.

     

    Min. Requirements: 3 to 5 years of related industrial experience. An Associates Degree in either Electronics or Electrical Technology is preferred. Must be able to work any shift of a 3 shift manufacturing facility but will be hired for 2nd or 3rd.

    Senior Quotations Analyst is responsible for coordinating all aspects of responding to a sales/customer-driven request for quotation, including interfacing as necessary with Estimating, Inquiry Engineering, Applications Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Responsible for establishing price levels within departmental objectives, or consulting with department management for direction on inquiries outside the scope of authority.
    • Work independently to achieve departmental objectives.
    • Prepare formal proposals with minimal supervision.
    • Coordinate market and field sales feedback with department management to assist in developing pricing strategies.
    • Interface effectively with all other headquarters departments.
    • Interface directly with field sales and/or customers.
    • Understand and implement departmental pricing objectives.
    • Manage workload for department efficiency and to meet sales/customer requirements.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • Must be able to work independently
    • Possess a broad product knowledge with excellent analytical ability
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

    The Okonite Company, an employee-owned Manufacturer of cable products has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced maintenance mechanic/Craftsman in a fast-paced, manufacturing support role for our Santa Maria, California facility.

    We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work in a heavy industrial environment. Minimum requirements include: High school graduate or equivalent and minimum 3 years experience working as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Duties include: forklift repairs, install/maintain/repair and testing of all facility equipment including manufacturing machines, utilities, buildings and grounds. Welding/brazing, use of precision measuring equipment and blue print reading capabilities required. Industrial trade school or college courses preferred. Must have own tools - Annual tool allowance provided.

    The successful candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:

    · Ability to pass a pre-employment maintenance exam

    · Industrial machine maintenance experience

    · Proficiency with welded repairs and fabrication using stick, MIG, TIG

    · Sheet metal fabrication

    · Experienced with an engine lathe (Not CNC):

    · Cutting internal and external threads

    · Cutting chamfers, radii, tapers

    · Polishing, reaming, parting

    · Various materials: plastic, steel, brass, aluminum, stainless

    · Experience with a vertical milling machine

    · Facing, broaching, drilling

    · Selecting proper tooling as well as feeds/speeds

    · Various materials: plastic, steel, brass, aluminum, stainless

    · Experience with other basic machine shop equipment such as surface grinder, drill press, saws, presses.

    The Director – IT oversees the strategic direction and daily operations of the technology infrastructure for our multi-site manufacturing, warehouse, corporate headquarters and sales office operations. This individual will lead a technical team consisting of Tier 1 – Tier 3 technicians and programmers to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of our MS Windows-based environment, networking hardware, custom programs and communication systems.

    Key Responsibilities


    1. Infrastructure and Operations Management

    • Systems Architecture – Direct the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL server, virtualization, patch management).

    • Networking – Design, maintain, secure, and ensure high availability and performance of networks at multi-sites for office operations and machine data.

    • Data centers – design, maintain and secure multiple on premise data centers including backup strategies.

    • PCs – manage and administer plant floor and employee PC and laptop policy.

    • Telecommunications – Manage VoIP phone systems, site security and wireless access points at all sites.

    • Manage and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

    • Execute cybersecurity initiatives including endpoint protection, firewalls, access controls, and compliance.

    • Manage companies’ low voltage, fiber, and wireless communications.



    2. IT Leadership and Strategy

    • Assist the CTO in developing and executing the company’s IT strategy aligned with business goals.

    • Lead and mentor multi-site IT staff that includes Tier 1 – Tier 3 support technicians, system administrators, network engineers, and custom software developers.

    • Manage IT policies, standards and best practices across all locations.

    • Manage IT budgets (capital projects and maintenance), forecasting and vendor relationships.

    • Lead team on compliance audits, SOC-2 audits, penetration testing and formalization and implementation of written IT policies.

    • Evaluate and manage outside contractors that can cost-effectively assist in optimizing the IT system architecture and performance.



    3. Technical Support Management

    • Supervise Tier 1 – Tier 3 support teams and monitor ticketing system KPIs to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

    4. Software Development and Applications

    • Supervise a team of in-house and contract programmers to develop and support in-house custom software solutions.

    • Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

    • Ensure proper documentation, testing, and lifecycle management of internally developed applications.

    • Work with CTO to integrate data acquisition and reporting with AS/400 mainframe system.

    Qualifications


    Required

    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in an IT operations role, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree or certifications in lieu will be considered.

    • Proven expertise in managing large Information Technology projects (budgeting, engineering, design and execution).

    • Deep functional understanding of Windows servers, SQL, Firewalls, Microsoft tenant, networking, and network security.

    • Technical hands-on proficiency in Windows Server, networking protocols (VLAN’s, VPNs), virtualization, M365, and on-prem data centers (NAS, backups).

    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles.


    Preferred

    • Understanding of programming principles with a preference for coding experience.

    • Certifications in relevant IT/security/project management fields (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, CEH, VMWare, Microsoft).

    The Facilities Civil Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and repair of concrete and steel structures.  They will work together with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on capital improvement projects to optimize quality while keeping to a schedule and budget.  The Facilities Civil Engineer must be project oriented and able to work well in a team environment.
