Full-Time Live-In Nanny Needed in Key West A warm, easygoing, and welcoming family is seeking a full-time, live-in nanny to join them at their home in beautiful Key West from October 7 through December 16, 2026. This is a seasonal position and is not expected to extend beyond the contracted term. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who thrives in an island environment and enjoys becoming part of a relaxed, family-centered lifestyle. The family will provide a private studio casita on the property, offering comfortable and independent accommodations while remaining close by for work responsibilities, restroom in main home, outdoor and guest shower options available. There is a large heated pool on-site for your use as well- the family's only request is that their daughter is not taken into the backyard/pool area while one of them is not also in accompaniment. Both parents are home all day- the father works from home. Their daughter will have just turned one year old at the start of the role and is happy, playful, and entering an exciting stage of development. As mobility increases, the family is seeking a highly attentive, engaging, and safety-conscious caregiver who genuinely enjoys supporting infant development through play, exploration, and consistent routines. The schedule will not exceed 40 hours per week or 5 working days per week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while ensuring the family receives reliable and consistent support. Flexibility is appreciated on occasion, though the family's lifestyle is generally relaxed and home-centered. The primary focus of the role is providing nurturing, hands-on childcare while serving as a collaborative partner to the parents. Additional responsibilities include child-related tasks, light household support, simple cooking, errands, and occasional assistance with family-related needs as they arise. The family is seeking someone bright-eyed, confident, social, assertive, positive-thinking, and intuitive; someone who can seamlessly step in as a supportive extension of the family while respecting the parents' preferences. Someone with an active, wellness-oriented lifestyle would be an ideal fit. Compensation is $30$40/hour+ on payroll DOE, and the family is open to assisting with relocation for the right candidate!
