Position Summary:The Estimator is responsible for the accurate takeoff and pricing of the work, including all direct and indirect costs for heavy/civil/roadway/marine projects. Position Summary:The Surveyor is responsible for all field layout and as-builts on assigned projects. Work conditions include walking long distances while carrying up to 40 pounds of equipment and working in all weather conditions for 8-10 hours a day.
Responsibilities:Operate all types of survey equipment including GPS and SCS900 software, Total Station, and Level.Perform site setup activities; i.e. site calibration, level runs, control checks.Perform all layout calculations in data collector; i.e. Station/Offset, Distances, Grading.Keep detailed field notes.Work independently when performing field layout.Transfer files between field and office.Work directly with the Project Managers and Superintendents regarding initial project layout requirements, means and methods of establishing project survey control, and field reporting.Utilize Trimble survey equipment and software including GPS, Robotic Total Stations, and manage Machine Control equipmentSoftware used includes SCS900, Trimble Access, and Trimble Business Center.

Position Summary:This position is responsible for managing the marketing, qualifications, technical proposal and design process for design build and other alternative delivery pursuits. Responsibilities include managing the design to budget and schedule, coordinating with our estimating and construction staff, driving/tracking deliverable progress, and managing all aspects of the proposal process through final selection. The ideal candidate will have civil, structural or geotechnical design experience, construction experience and will be a strong technical manager with excellent written and verbal skills.Responsibilities: Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near-misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety first, in everything we do.Develop preliminary information on assigned pursuits through research, attendance at public meetings/forums, public outreach events. Coordinate development of marketing materials. Coordinate and attend client marketing meetings. Develop and manage the proposal schedule. Manage and participate in the development, writing, reviewing and the submission of qualifications, technical proposal and all related documents working with both internal and external resources. Manage the efforts of our design partner throughout the pursuit. Coordinate the proposal/estimating interface. Manage maintenance of all proposal-related documents. Ensure that meeting minutes and action items are maintained and distributed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or construction-related field. A combination of 10 years of complex highway, bridge and marine construction or design experience. Minimum 3 years managing design build or other alternative delivery projects. Excellent computer skills. Ability to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
