JOB SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Engineer analyzes manufacturing drawings, job specifications and related data to visualize the manufacturing and machining processes to make the parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To develop the most effective manufacturing processes to meet customer needs.To estimate the time and material cost of the manufacturing process. Provide engineering solutions for optimizing cost, process, and delivery schedules.Utilizing communication skills with customers, suppliers and employees.Develop process routers and Bills of Materials.Consult with sales team, shop floor team, vendors and customers as needed to:Confirm customer requirements and ensure expectations are understood.Review internal capabilities to ensure the job specifications can be met.Identify scheduling conflicts, production bottlenecks, and missing information.Obtain accurate and competitive pricing.Modify engineering drawings by developing additional drawings that depict the cutting, bending and shaping of sheet metal necessary to produce components and assemblies per our customers drawings. Evaluate engineering changes suggested by Fabrication Personnel; After approval by customer and receipt of updated drawings, revise any and all internal documentation and programs.Review and evaluate ECR’s, engineering memorandums and drawings received from our customers; recommend alternatives if necessary.Research and resolve problems encountered during manufacturing and fabrication of components and assembly. Develop the proper file format for transferring into machines that cut sheet metal and plate using lasers, turret punches and press brakes.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environment.Ability to utilize 3D CAD programs with an emphasis on SolidWorks.Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and machining processes.Ability to develop cost estimation for a wide variety of projects and parts.Ability to identify key components of manufacturing problems and formulate a solution.Licensures and Certifications: NoneEducation: Bachelor’s degree preferredJOB SUMMARY:
The Turret Punch Press Operator is primarily responsible for running parts on a Finn Punch Press to meet blueprint specifications, keeping up with production schedules, and meeting quality requirements. They will also perform set-up procedures on simple to moderately complex part runs.

Operate CNC controlsPlaces work piece on table manually or by using craneInserts, aligns plus locks punches dies in turret, using hammer, shims, feelers, micrometers plus setscrewsCheck accuracy of work using blueprint and precision measuring tools;Work from blueprintsLocate and move raw material with pallet jack or forkliftPerform in-line inspections of parts to ensure part consistencyVerify dimensions of finished product, evaluate for defects, and ready for next production stepWORK ENVIRONMENT:

The CNC Machinist is responsible for accurately operating machines, inspecting parts for quality and performing basic maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Machines parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.Operating machines to produce good parts efficiently and on time to satisfy our internal and external customers.Inspect parts and fine tune to ensure consistent part quality throughout every production run.Program and setup machines to produce first article parts.Performing basic preventive maintenance to equipment and tooling to maximize machine uptime.Sets up, adjusts, and operates all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.Selects the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.Monitors the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.Maintains production and run time standards for all jobs.Understands, recommends and correctly uses all job-related measuring devices.Troubleshoots and solves all machining problems.Produces work daily that is consistently accurate.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

To ensure quality of the painting process.Able to run the paint booth and have full understanding of the powder coating techniques and equipment. This includes the cleaning and monitoring of equipment.Set and operate both the dry off and cure ovens and record settings.Accurately record and document powder usage at the end of each production run.Log in and log out of jobs accurately and timely.Optimize the painting process to its fullest to improve throughput and increase efficiencies.Perform clean ups and changeovers in a timely manner. Assure that booth is properly cleaned and that all equipment is cleaned properly prior to going to next set up. Clean out paint booth trays at end of shift daily.Store all paints in proper location and prevention of cross contamination of paints by properly storing unused paints at end of runs.Reduce the over usage of powder paint by making needed adjustments to powder equipment.Report any and all gun maintenance related issues to Line Leader and/or Supervisor as they occur.WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Form parts utilizing CNC Press Brake equipment, assuring quality and productivityUsing inspection devices to inspect parts, according to print and product inspection plan. Spot-check quality of work by periodically, and visual inspectionMeasures work, using rule, gauges, calipers and templatesWill be trained to learn set-up procedures on simple to moderately complex partsDetermine correct tooling to form parts to specifications based on material type, thickness, bend radius, and part geometry.Generate programs at machine controller on simple to moderately complex parts. Know and enforce all safety rules and regulations. Responsible in reading and interrupting blue printsMaking small, mathematically calculated, angle and dimensional correctionsOrienting the part correctly according to projected view on blueprintFollow all safety rules and remain safety conscious at all times by understanding safety requirements in every area, and complying.
