    Position Summary
    The Restaurant Host is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth guest flow. As the first and last point of contact, the Host plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the overall efficiency of the restaurant.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave.Manage reservations and walk-ins using Toast Tables.Maintain an organized and accurate waitlist during peak hours.Coordinate with servers and bussers to optimize table seating.Answer questions about menu items, restaurant policies, and wait times.Answer phone calls and assist callers with reservations, and general questions.Monitor and restock host station supplies, including menus and promotional materials.Assist in light cleaning tasks, including cleaning menu covers.Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager and other staff to ensure smooth operations.Perform other duties as directed.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Previous hosting experience required, fine dining experience preferred.CA Food Handler certification required (or ability to obtain prior to starting).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle busy shifts in a calm and professional manner.Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    While performing the duties of this position, the employee may  stand for extended periods.The employee may occasionally lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and repetitive motions are required.

    Position Summary

    As a Line Cook at The Little Room, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen team by cooking and preparing menu items. You will be responsible for stocking food preparation stations, following recipes accurately, and ensuring a clean and organized working environment.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    Follow safe food service protocols in accordance with Health Department standardsPrepare and cook menu items in accordance with company standardsSupport the Head Chef by following directions and completing assigned tasksStock and organize food preparation stations before and after each shiftFollow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food qualityMaintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following food safety regulationsCollaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient serviceAssist with inventory management and rotating stock as needed

    Minimum Qualifications

    Minimum of one to three years of restaurant experience requiredExperience in food preparation and presentation requiredCA Food Handler certification requiredPrevious experience managing cost controlsDesire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice companyAbility to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong English language skills preferred, bilingual a plus
