Responsibilities Ability to organize and maintain all project documentation onto the Project Management System to interface with all project parties - clients/agencies and contractors Coordinate progress meetings, take meeting minutes Save and distribute all project distributions - submittals, RFIs, email correspondence, daily reports, weekly reports, safety reports, photographs, etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college required; any technical degree is a plus Experience working on projects for Amtrak, NJ Transit, or other Railroads is a plus OSHA certifications are preferred Working around rail projects experience preferred Knowledge of construction materials, methods and procedures Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to collaborate with multiple team members well Physical ability and coordination to safely maneuver around construction sites We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential. Responsibilities • Report daily to Senior Project Manager • Communicate directly with the client • Provide technical evaluations, advice and guidance • Plan project phasing for make-ready projects • Manage contractor compliance with documents • Lead project during Construction Administration, including responding to RFI’s, Submittal Review and Issuing of Design Changes • Coordinate the work of numerous contractors, provide progress reports, contract correspondences, manage the submittals, requisitions and change order process Qualifications • Minimum 5+ years of successful construction project management experience with emphasis in higher education/life science projects • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture • Strong communication skills at multiple project levels ranging from tradespeople to client or facility executives • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple task • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, and Microsoft Project), and some level of experience using industry Project Management Control Systems (PMCS), preferably Procore and Bluebeam • Strong working knowledge of programming, design, pre-construction, contract management, change management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, schedule and budget oversight, safety planning and oversight, quality assurance, risk management team building, and client-facing relationship building Our Culture: We believe in the power of collaboration.
