    Position Overview

    The Construction Manager with LEMOINE oversees construction activities at the field level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee and manage all construction activities at the site level.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.Develop, update, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and plans.Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.Monitor construction progress and implement necessary adjustments.Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards.Resolve construction-related issues and conflicts promptly.Prepare and maintain comprehensive project reports and documentation.Secure required permits and licenses for construction activities.Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks effectively.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry.Skills:Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role.Proficient in construction project management software, preferably ProCore. Strong skills in MS Suite.Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents.Certifications: Required: Valid Driver's License. Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt), ProCore user Certification.Language: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.

    Working Conditions:

    Door and hardware adjustments

    Cabinet alignment and touch-ups

    Minor drywall repair and texture blending

    Baseboards, casing, and crown molding installation or repair

    Caulking, sealing, and finish detail work

    Install, repair, and adjust interior doors, windows, trim, and finish carpentry components.

    Read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and punch lists.

    Maintain high-quality craftsmanship with strong attention to detail.

    Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding scope of repairs and timelines.

    Maintain clean and organized work areas, especially in occupied residences.

    Perform daily tool and equipment inspections.

    Drive to multiple job sites within assigned parishes as needed.

    Document completed work and report status updates to supervisors.

Job Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of CDBG-DR projects, including scheduling manpower, procuring tools and materials, securing permits, and ensuring compliance with HUD and local regulations. Conduct detailed residential inspections to establish scopes of work, document completed repairs, and verify compliance with CDBG-DR standards, including photographs, scope notes, and required checklists.
