We specialize in hollow metal doors and frames, architectural wood doors, architectural hardware, access control, and washroom accessories and partitions.
Responsibilities:
Analyze plans and specifications and prepare detailed take-offsPrepare construction documents, including bids, schedules of values, and purchase ordersManage submittals, shop drawings, and material samplesRequest supplier pricing; prepare purchase orders; order and track materialsPrepare shop tickets for fabrication and hardware picking ticketsCoordinate shop fabrication with delivery drivers and job site foreman; prepare delivery tickets and packing listsCompile schedules and coordinate with general contractors regarding material delivery requirementsCommunicate with clients, designers, and building management through all phases of construction, providing updates and addressing questions or concernsTrack and manage construction change ordersQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction Technology preferredRelevant construction industry experienceAbility to read plans and specifications and preform accurate take-offsProficient in construction drawing/drafting and Microsoft Office; ability to learn industry-specific estimating softwareExperience with all phases of construction documents, including field measurements, as-builts, schematic design, contract documents, and construction administrationStrong communication, organizational, and time management with attention to detailBenefits:
