Reporting to the Director of Clinical and Specialized Services, this position is responsible for the oversight and direct supervision of the Client Resource Center including clinical services, as well as all project activities.
Ensuring the development, implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including the rights of offenders while at the program;Providing mental health individual counseling services for CRC clients;Providing oversight of the licensed DMHAS program;Planning for, and administration of, managerial, operational, fiscal, and reporting components of the program;Participating in the development of a quality assurance plan for offender care and staff performance;Ensuring that all personnel are assigned duties based upon their education, training, competencies, and job descriptions;Ensuring the provision of staff orientation and staff education;Establishing and maintaining liaison relationships and communication with program staff and services, support services, community resources and offenders;Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, community service providers, and program participants;Ensuring Contract compliance and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the NJSPB at all times.Participating in promoting community acceptance and understanding of community correctional programs;Supporting staff through ongoing open communication, delegation of responsibility and authority, active encouragement, demonstrating trust and a shared commitment to the mission of the Company;Coordinating employment placement efforts by working closely with business service representatives; work readiness instructors and employment specialist to ensure optimum employment placement;Collecting, compiling and maintaining employment statistics and relevant program data for audit reviews;Conducting and documenting regular program activity review to ensure program outcome measurements are being met; andAll other duties as assigned.
Required knowledge, Abilities and Experience:
Knowledge of:
Federal, State and Local employment laws, Employment principle and acceptable work ethics; Contract requirement s regarding resident’s employment; Employer incentives and benefits; OJT contract procedures, Clinical Treatment Services
Ability to:
Provide effective supervision and guidance to CRC and clinical staff; Communicate effectively orally in writing with all levels of employment community and contracting agencies; Plan organize and control resources to meet the needs of the CRC/clinical programs; Meet and maintain contract employment requirements; Travel regionally and maintain a flexible schedule.
Academic and Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of related experience including one year of managerial experience. MA or MSW, and, LAC, LPC, LCSW, or LCADC
