The Kelly Group is seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Supervisor for its Decatur, Illinois, location and work in the surrounding area. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of plant maintenance supervision experience in a grain handling and/or processing environment.
This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:
Oversee and direct maintenance crewsPerform equipment maintenance on various types of mechanical equipment, including belt conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, grain cleaners, screw conveyors, etc.Show familiarity with different types of bearings and setting tolerances and taper locksPerform rigging and hoisting to properly move materials via the use of cranes and/or hand signaling to an operatorPerform and demonstrate the ability to complete work using safe work practices, and ensure maintenance crews are following the same practicesOther preferred qualifications sought include:
OSHA 30-hour or equivalent trainingCapable of performing welding (SMAW) work and using a torchAbility to fabricate ironPlant and preventive maintenance experienceIndustrial construction experienceAbility to align shafts utilizing a laser alignment toolAbility to perform belt splicing and maintenance for conveyors and bucket elevatorsThe Kelly Group offers a complete benefits package, including:
