    SUMMARY

    An Inventory Specialist position is available at Jay Group in Lancaster, PA. They are responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory process within the company. The role ensures inventory levels within the warehouse are accurate, products are tracked efficiently, and stock is maintained at optimal levels. Inventory Specialists manage and organize regular physical counts.

    Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm - Overtime will be required based on business need.

    Inventory Specialist Job Responsibilities:
    Oversee inventory transactions such as receipts, adjustments, and movements. Help coordinate and maintain proper storage of inventory to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, stock discrepancies, and potential issues. Generate and review inventory reports, and provides insights on inventory performance. Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure compliance with company policies. Develop and implement processes for better inventory accuracy and efficiency. Completes daily cycle count tasks generated by the system in our clean warehouse. Complete special count requests as needed. Upon completion of counts, determine if there are discrepancies and reconcile the differences as needed including sku changes. Verify lots/expiration information and pull products from active picking locations as needed. Report large/unusual discrepancies to the IC team for further resolution via email providing supporting documentation regarding the issue(s) found. Participate in physical inventories. Inventories may take place after scheduled hours including weekends. Operates warehouse equipment (cherry picker, forklifts) to perform daily duties. You will be required to work overtime as business needs require, especially during our peak season in November and December.

    Qualifications:
    High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a higher-level inventory control position required. Forklift or warehouse equipment certification is preferred. This will be a requirement for the position but can be trained if required. Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment a plus. Strong typing skills with a focus on data accuracy and attention to detail while entering data. Some advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel) a plus. Previous experience working with Inventory Software and a Warehouse Management Systems, preferred. Attention to detail and the ability to count accurately is required. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication skills oral and written.

    Director of Operations Key Responsibilities:
    Be a servant leader who demonstrates the key principles of lean continuous improvement. Provide oversight and direction to the workflow of the Warehouse Fulfillment Operations department to ensure they are focused on timely and accurate planning, WM Activities, receiving, inspection, put-away, cycle-counting/inventory control activities, picking and shipping activities, spec pack projects, returns processing, and miscellaneous work order activities. Collaborate with other teams to ensure operational success as defined by safely shipping the end customers' orders that are accurate, well packed, on-time -- all in a cost-effective manner. These teams will include WMS planning team, Inventory Control, Engineering, Maintenance, Client Services, IT, Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance. Provides input to the development of product/services strategy and research and development of new and emerging products/services offered. Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and establishes and maintains KPI data relative to all processes in fulfillment operations, ensuring that all obligations are met within requirements. Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. Directs daily production activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of Human Resources, space and equipment. Oversees fulfillment operations training for the awareness and compliance of all assigned employees with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.     Qualifications:

    Jay Group is looking for a Help Desk Technician to support its fulfillment operations at our new Houston, Texas facility.

    Job Duties:
    Point of contact for employees IT issues Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner. Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques. Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers. Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution. Work through the problem-solving process with customers, empowering them to do the same in the future. Fix more complicated issues in person. Provides technical support for computer systems and troubleshoots issues encountered by end users in person, online Chat, or over the phone. Install modified and updated software, supervise and analyze data for integrity, and support data transfers or file sharing Set up and configure new and repaired devices (warehouse devices, printers, and computers) Manage assets including frequent inventory and inspection Support operations needs with supply of functioning devices Repair and evaluate broken equipment for service Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel. Diagnose technology problems as it relates to business processes. When needed assist Network Engineers with lighter duties. Be on a support (on-call) rotation that requires receiving phone calls during nights and weekends.

    Additional Requirements
    Previous college or business school degree with 2-4 years of account management and / or logistics experience required Must have professional oral and written communication skills.
