Key Responsibilities (Overnight Budtender)
Greet and assist late-night customers with a friendly, professional attitude.Educate customers on the various hemp products we offer, including their benefits, effects, and usage.Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, including new strains, product lines, and promotions.Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations regarding hemp product sales.Participate in inventory management, stocking shelves, product displays, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment — particularly preparing the store for opening the next day.Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming store environment during overnight hours. Follow and encourage others to follow the vision and values of Hempie’s.Multitask quickly and thoroughly while being adaptable, dependable, and having a strong work ethic.Communicate effectively with customers and team members.Adhere to Hempie’s rules and dress code at all times.Perform additional overnight duties such as light cleaning, merchandising, and restocking as assigned.Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old.Must have at least 32 hours of weekly availability (overnight shifts).Comfort and reliability working independently and/or with a small overnight crew.Passion for hemp and wellness products.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.Team player with a positive attitude.Dependable and trustworthy — overnight staff are trusted to keep the store safe and secure.If you’re a night owl who thrives in a calm, customer-focused environment, come grow with us at Hempie’s!
