Position Overview The Civil Foreman is responsible for leading and directing field crews on civil construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications. This role serves as the frontline leader on the jobsitecoordinating daily activities, managing crews and equipment, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise field crews in daily civil construction operations Plan and coordinate daily work activities in alignment with project schedules and superintendent direction Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and site-specific safety standards Conduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks) and promote a strong safety culture Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide field execution Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to meet production goals Monitor productivity and crew performance; adjust resources as needed Maintain accurate daily reports, including labor, equipment, and production tracking Ensure quality control standards are met and minimize rework Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and other trades on-site Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on track Train, mentor, and develop crew members Qualifications 5+ years of experience in civil construction, with leadership or foreman experience preferred Required experience working in petrochemical or refinery environments Strong understanding of civil construction practices (site prep, excavation, concrete, utilities, etc.) Proven ability to lead crews and manage jobsite operations Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Ability to work in outdoor environments and physically demanding conditions Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is an E-Verify employer and all candidates must be willing to submit to any job related background check, fitness for duty, and drug screen that are required during the hiring process.
