The Integration Solutions Consultant position is an exciting opportunity working with external Employee Benefits (EB) customers to enable strategic data connections with their Enrollment and HRIS platforms. The Integration Solutions Consultant operationalizes the latest integration capabilities for the most complex cases while providing guidance to staff, management and project teams on those new capabilities. Working with our external clients, technology platform partners and EB business partners (Operations, Implementation, Sales, Claims, Client Relationship Managers, Product), the Integration Solutions Consultant role will drive consultative conversations to determine the best data solution option for the Customer in both Finalist and Post-sale settings. The Integration Solutions Consultant is responsible for implementing timely, high quality inbound and outbound data connections using Application Programming Interfaces (API's) and traditional Electronic Data Interface (EDI) File Feeds to support complex client needs. The Integration Solutions Consultant will use a variety of skills such as relationship building, adaptability, consultation, data driven decision making and project management skills to prioritize work, respond to multiple deadlines, and balance concurrent tasks successfully in a fast-paced environment. The Integration Solutions Consultant will spend up to 40 percent of their time performing customer facing activities in calls, videoconferences and occasionally at client locations. Primary Duties: Lead the most complex Leave Management and National Account Customer data integration implementations providing consultative support with data exchange options involving API and File Feeds. Co-lead technical implementation calls with Implementation Managers and provide consultative guidance on Hartford and HR Tech Platform technical capabilities for topics related to complex data exchange and key integration requirements thereof. Owns HR Tech Platform relationship to independently perform integration configuration of internal systems, provide client platform configuration guidance and complete detailed connection and data testing activities for our customers. Coordinate testing with internal partner teams and provide meaningful, consolidated feedback for the customer and their vendor partners. Lead operationalizing of new interface capabilities and new vendor partner integrations inclusive of training supporting Business Analysts. Participate in pre-sales and finalist meetings to walk customers through our data exchange options. Partner with Digital Marketing team to build new and refresh current capability and build guides. Qualifications: Expert knowledge of various data exchange options - File Feeds and API's. Expert knowledge of data analysis tools such as SQL and MS Excel including advanced formulas and functions. Advanced Knowledge of Hartford EB Insurance claims practices, processing, customer experience and how they are supported by our data integrations and systems. Ability to craft and manage documentation that supports the effective delivery of technology that meets specific business needs. Ability to recognize customer data sensitivity and limit use and distribution of protected information to the minimum amount required. Ability to critically analyze data, problem solve, make judgments as to reliability/accuracy of information received and support business performance. Ability to structure and drive working and informational sessions that promote collaboration, achieve synergy, and achieve desired outcomes Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills Strong presentation skills Education, Experience and Certifications; Minimum Qualifications 5+ Years of experience with Group Benefits Products (Leave, Life and Disability) 5+ Years of experience implementing and configuring data integrations Preferred Qualifications Direct Functional or Technical build support experience on major HIRS platforms such as Workday and UKG.
