Job Summary
Implement Continuous Improvement of manufacturing operations with the objective of increasing value and meeting customer requirements with reduced costs and variation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct daily Gemba walks and Gemba talks to get to know the plant team and identify improvement opportunities. Participate in the DDB process.Interact with Sales, Service, Production, and Quality/Lean Teams to improve the quality, speed and cost of manufacturing processes. Work with the Operation and HR teams to assist with compliance of all safety, health and environmental regulations and guidelines.Participate in the improvement of NCMs, CARs, rework and OTD. Identify common causes and implement preventive actions.Interface with other facility functions to implement Lean and CI program for continuous improvement.Optimize process parameters to reduce cycle time, material usage and process variationParticipate in the gross profit review process to drive margin improvement through process efficiencyDocument and quantify (dollarize) process improvement efforts.Lead the work order improvement process by investigating work order improvement suggestions, and by updating Engineering Master according to best practices. Identify opportunities for standardization; create standards/graphical instructions and train team members on new standards. Create and maintain the process instruction and documentation.Provide production support including equipment, process, and material trouble-shooting. Also, any operator training support as necessary. Provide purchasing support including supplier and material evaluations.Manage the installation and implementation of new equipment, tools, and processes including operator training and customer service training for quoting purposes.Work with the Development Engineer on technology transfer of new product and process to routine production.Other activities:
Assist facility manager to prepare project charter and Capex requests to support growthTraining of operators and other staffs as requiredWork with Production and Maintenance to scale up process and equipment capacityParticipate in NCM, 8D activities utilizing Lean toolsQualify new process, equipment and toolPlan and implement process improvements from the above activities Requirements:Minimum Requirements
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, related field or equivalent work experienceFamiliar with CAD CAM software, CNC equipmentDemonstrated success in implementing improvements in production processesWood or composites fabrication and or composites materials manufacturing experience a plus.Problem solving skills including Lean Tools such as 8D, 5 Why, DMAIC A3Minimum 2 years of experience improving manufacturing processes and KaizenSkills and Abilities Required
Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization Outstanding analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely, cost-effective mannerStrong Microsoft Office skills for report writing and to analyze dataStrong problem solving skills for processes and equipmentWorks well with people and is comfortable leading teamsProject planning and report writingPhysical Demands

Work Environment

Job Summary Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the full order fulfillment process to ensure complete customer satisfaction. This includes processing orders, handling customer inquiries, and working with internal teams to meet customer needs. As a CSR Order Fulfillment Coordinator, this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service Representative
Implement and manage the Order Fulfillment Process with precision and efficiency in an extremely responsive manner for the customer.Navigate through ERP-CRM software and database systems to enter quotes and customer orders as well as maintain and update software with customer notations (SSC-Sales, Service, Calls).Accurately respond to customer inquiries and quote requests in an expeditious and complete manner.Build relationships with TGC's customer base to fully understand the customer's requirements, communicate them to our production and sales team.Manage customer inventory requirements through use of Purchase Requisition Process.
