Position Summary
The Griff Network is seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and overall appearance of our physical campus. This role is focused on building and facility maintenance rather than production equipment repair. The ideal candidate is a practical “jack-of-all-trades” who can handle general repairs, basic carpentry, painting, plumbing support, lighting maintenance, and facility walkthroughs with limited supervision. This position will support multiple Griff locations in the Fallsington area.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine interior and exterior facility maintenance, including painting, drywall repair, ceiling tile replacement, and general building upkeep.Complete general repairs such as fixing leaking faucets, clearing minor plumbing clogs, repairing doors, locks, hardware, office furniture, and other facility-related items.Support routine lighting maintenance, including changing lightbulbs and ballasts, and assisting with minor electrical repairs such as switches and outlets when appropriate.Conduct regular safety walkthroughs of company buildings to identify and address tripping hazards, blocked exits, structural concerns, or other facility-related safety issues.Assist with exterior building maintenance, including keeping walkways, entrances, and common areas safe, clean, and accessible.Travel between local Griff facilities throughout the workday to complete maintenance tasks and respond to facility needs.Meet with the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager to review priorities, work orders, and completed tasks.Maintain basic maintenance records, logs, and updates related to completed work.Assist outside vendors and contractors by providing access to building systems or work areas as needed.Follow all company safety procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment at all times.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.2–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, general maintenance, handiwork, construction, or a related field preferred.Strong general repair skills, including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing support, lighting, and building maintenance.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and common maintenance equipment.Ability to work independently, identify facility issues, and take initiative to complete repairs efficiently.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks across multiple buildings and priorities.Basic computer or record-keeping skills to track maintenance activity and communicate updates.Strong safety mindset with the ability to recognize hazards and follow all safety procedures.Ability to travel between local Fallsington facilities during the workday.Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.Must be dependable, flexible, and comfortable supporting a variety of facility maintenance needs.What We Offer:

The employee must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. as required. This role may involve working from ladders, step stools, or elevated areas while performing facility maintenance tasks. This position requires work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. The employee must be able to travel between local company facilities during the workday and wear required Personal Protective Equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and other PPE as needed.

The Slitter Operator Helper supports the safe and efficient operation of slitter and rewinder equipment used to convert master rolls of paper, film, foil, and other flexible materials into finished rolls that meet customer specifications. This role is for our second shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
This position assists Slitter Operators with machine preparation, material loading, machine threading, basic splicing, core preparation, finished-roll handling, packaging, labeling, and production area organization. The Slitter Operator Helper also inspects materials for visible defects, gathers required supplies, completes basic production documentation, and moves finished products to designated staging or shipping areas.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, machine helper, or material-handling experience is preferred. This position provides hands-on training and a defined opportunity to advance into a Slitter Operator role.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Slitter Operators with machine setup and breakdown, including staging materials, loading master rolls, preparing shafts and cores, threading materials, and gathering required tooling and supplies.Review work orders and production instructions to confirm the correct materials, dimensions, core sizes, packaging supplies, labels, and customer requirements.Load and unload master rolls, finished rolls, shafts, cores, skids, and other materials using forklifts, hoists, and approved material-handling equipment.Perform basic splicing and assist with maintaining continuous material flow during production runs.Cut cores and prepare skids, boxes, core plugs, wrapping materials, labels, and other packaging supplies needed to complete production orders.Remove finished rolls from the rewind section and inspect materials for visible defects, proper winding, acceptable edges, contamination, wrinkles, damage, and other quality concerns.Measure materials and finished rolls using tape measures, rulers, calipers, or other approved measuring devices to verify that products meet job specifications.Package, label, wrap, band, and stage finished products according to customer specifications, work orders, and shipping requirements.Complete basic production records and Epicor transactions, including material usage, finished quantities, scrap, packaging information, and job completion details.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area while following all company safety procedures, quality standards, forklift requirements, and personal protective equipment guidelines.Assist with basic equipment cleaning and operator-level maintenance while promptly reporting machine, material, safety, or quality concerns to the Slitter Operator or supervisor.Participate in training and cross-training, support additional converting or material-handling activities as needed, and complete other duties assigned by management.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.One to three years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, packaging, material handling, or a related industrial environment is preferred.Previous experience as a machine helper, production associate, slitter helper, rewinder helper, or material handler is preferred but not required.Ability to read and understand work orders, production instructions, labels, customer specifications, safety procedures, and basic production records.Ability to use tape measures, rulers, calipers, or other measuring devices accurately.Basic understanding of manufacturing quality standards and the ability to identify visible material, winding, cutting, packaging, or labeling defects.Forklift experience is preferred, along with the ability to obtain and maintain company-required forklift certification.Basic math, computer, and record-keeping skills needed to document production activity and complete Epicor transactions.Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, dependability, and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a production team.Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn machine threading, splicing, roll handling, slitter and rewinder setup, quality inspection, and equipment operation.What We Offer:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods, including up to eight hours during a scheduled shift. The employee is also required to use hands and fingers to operate equipment, handle tools and materials, position blades and machine components, reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and communicate effectively with team members.
The position requires the ability to load, unload, move, position, and prepare production materials, master rolls, finished rolls, shafts, cores, tooling, and packaging supplies. The employee must be able to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without assistance or approved material-handling equipment.
The employee must be able to work around moving production equipment, cutting components, forklifts, roll-handling equipment, and industrial machinery while following all safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment.

The UV Coater Operator Helper supports the safe and efficient operation of a continuous web UV cationic silicone coating line used to manufacture silicone coated paper, film, release liners, and other flexible materials. This position will be first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Working under the direction of the UV Coater Operator and GAL Production Manager, this position assists with material preparation, machine setup, web threading, splicing, roll changes, sampling, chemical weighing, packaging, cleaning, and production documentation. The Helper also supports the upkeep of the UV coating area and assists with routine UV lamp system cleaning and component replacement after completing the required training.
This is a hands on manufacturing position that requires forklift operation, material handling, attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to work safely around production chemicals, moving machinery, and ultraviolet curing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the UV Coater Operator with machine setup, operation, monitoring, cleaning, and product changeovers.Prepare rolls, cores, chemicals, packaging materials, labels, and other supplies according to work orders and production schedules.Safely load, unload, position, and move rolls and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, hoist, or other approved equipment.Assist with web threading, roll changes, splicing, web alignment, tension control, and removal of completed rolls.Cut raw material and coated product samples for laboratory testing, product retention, and quality review.Cut cores to required specifications and prepare shafts, chucks, and machine components for upcoming orders.Create and apply labels according to work orders, customer requirements, and internal traceability procedures.Assist with weighing approved chemical batches before and after each job while following established chemical handling procedures.Weigh completed rolls and accurately record production results, material usage, waste, and other required job information.Inspect materials and finished rolls for damage, contamination, defects, incorrect labeling, or packaging concerns and report issues promptly.Pack, wrap, band, label, and stage completed orders according to customer and shipping specifications.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist trained employees with scheduled cleaning and replacement of UV system components.Qualifications:
