    Responsibilities

    Summary:
    The Locksmith/Armory Officer is responsible for the security, inventory, and maintenance of the facility armory including all firearms, other security equipment, chemical agents and key control.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Locksmith Armory Officer ensures the safe handling of all firearms, chemical agents and ammunition.The Locksmith/Armory Officer ensures compliance with all rules, regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to key control. May assist in the development and implementation of updated policies, procedures and regulations for the custody, security and/or treatment of inmates/detainees. Reviews staff effectiveness and conducts frequent physical inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.The Locksmith Armory Officer ensures all equipment is issued and signed for on the Arsenal equipment issue log. Responsible for maintaining records and preparing reports as assigned by management. Maintains daily logs as required.The Locksmith Armory Officer performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent certification required.Minimum of 19 years of age.One (1) year of experience in a correctional facility with responsibility for direct supervision over inmates/detainees or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.Must be flexible, intellectually alert, able to command the respect and confidence of detainees/inmates and staff, possess a working knowledge of correctional laws, applicable court orders and possess a high tolerance to mental stress.Must have a proven work history with sound abilities to write communications, documents, policy, court room defenses, contract negotiations, and other required written correspondence.Must be able to understand and carry out moderately complex oral and written instructions.Ability to coordinate staffing requirements for security supervisors and officers.Must have completed an approved training program resulting in a certificate of satisfactory completion.     Summary:

    Develops, manages, and implements operational procedures and policies for the business and support services functions of the facility. This includes establishing and maintaining accounting procedures, fiscal reporting methods, procedures for payment of invoices and other related activities. Additional support services functions may include: payroll, purchasing, communications, food services, warehouse, commissary, inventory property control, laundry, information technology and insurance.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Since inception in 2004, BI Incorporated has operated ISAP for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). ISAP is an essential part of ERO, providing intensive supervision of individuals in immigration proceedings. The program achieves positive results by combining comprehensive case management with proven supervision technology. In addition, BI maintains an extensive list of community-based partners to provide critical assistance for participants' basic life needs. With consistent positive outcomes, ISAP continues to grow and evolve, serving an ever-increasing number of participants.


    Responsibilities

    Summary:

    The Government Site Specialist provides case management of Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) participants from entry to release by administering the program’s policies and procedures as defined by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract. This position is operating independently at a government site without a Program Manager on site.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Government Site Specialist works independently to manage all aspects of case management within the program requirements.Develops, implements, coordinates, reviews and updates case management and service plans for ISAP participants in conformance with state and federal regulations and program requirements.The Government Site Specialist meets with participants regularly as required by contractual obligations.Develops and maintains accurate and complete case records for all ISAP participants from entry to release from ISAP. Proactively manages cases using all appropriate tools and techniques. Maintains confidentiality of all recordsThe Government Site Specialist manages program participant violations, including no-shows and repeat violators. Prepares documentation to acquire Department of Homeland (DHS) direction and action if disciplinary measures are necessary.Administers Security Plan for a specific office, including daily operations, security contingencies, emergencies and mitigation plans, security of Company and DHS employees, clients and the general public. Performs daily security check of the office area. Ensures that all participant records are kept in locked files to maintain confidentiality. Prepares corrective action plans as necessary.Serves as the point of contact for DHS.Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.At least two (2) years of customer service or case management experience required; experience in fields related to law, social work, detention, corrections or working with multi-cultural clients preferred.Bilingual English/Spanish required.Valid driver’s license required and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in order to perform home visits. Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.United States citizenship required.Must live in the US 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).Effective verbal and written communication skills with employees, community contacts, government officials and participants.     Summary

    The Bookkeeper performs accounting functions including cash control, funds disbursement, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. This position requires the application of varied bookkeeping and business procedures. Work requires familiarity with company financial policies to include accounting, payroll, and other areas.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    The Bookkeeper processes all accounts payable, accounts receivables, checking accounts, employee payroll, and inmate payroll.The Bookkeeper maintains and distributes employee payroll ensuring that employee time is accounted for per GEO Policy.Makes bank deposits, writes checks, and maintains regular balance controls on all checking accounts.Collects and counts all cash, money orders or certified checks that have been accepted for inmates, and credits the amount to the appropriate inmate account.Develops and submits required reports relative to all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, checking accounts, employee payroll, inmate payroll, and inmate trust.Prepares employee travel orders, advances, and expense reimbursements.Assists in month-end closing, forecasting and budgeting processes.May oversee the receptionist/admin clerk in daily performance and evaluation of job duties.Ensures accurate inventory of all items in the warehouse, food service, maintenance, and any other area where supplies are stored for distribution.Performs other duties as assigned.

    The Shift Supervisor supervises security/control activities and staff in an assigned area, which provides for maximum facility coordination in inmate/detainee supervision and safety, in addition to the preparation of required records and reports.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Shift Supervisor assists in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and regulations for custody, security and/or treatment of detainees/inmates.Responds to major unusual occurrences.
