To work well in this role, you should have some cleaning experience and basic knowledge of various cleaning products. Night Cleaner Responsibilities: * General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition. * Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. * Cleaning and stock restrooms. * Empty trash and recycling bins. * Remove debris and snow from sidewalks. * Ensure doors are locked after hours. * Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. * Lock up the facility, potentially arming alarms, independently. * Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs. * Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. * Keep cleaning supplies in stock. * Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary. * Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.     • Ensures all glassware, flatware and plateware are sanitized and available as needed
    • Always keeps sanitation solution up to Maverick Hotels and Restaurants code and sets up bussing and water stations for service
    • Polishes glassware, plateware and flatware using dishwashers or by hand
    • Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated areas
    • Assists in counting of inventory of flatware, glassware and plateware
    • Maintains proper placement and organization of day-to-day utensils
    • Maintains proper storage of dish dollies, glass racks and flatware
    • Maintains kitchen work areas, expo line, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
    • Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, etc.
    • Sorts and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
    • Works diligently to avoid breakage and loss
    • Ensures that all dishes and utensils are properly stocked and stored
    • Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Maverick Hotel and Restaurants locations. This includes the use of guest names when possible & maintains good eye contact with each guest

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • At least one year customer service experience required
    • At least six months food & beverage experience required
    • Prior experience as Server Assistant or Food Runner preferred

    This is a day shift positions with varying schedules available: 08:00-16:00 and 10:00-18:30

    Key Responsibilities:
    Perform tasks as assigned by the Lead/Supervisor and outlined in the scope of work.Remove all trash from aircraft.Clean and restock all lavatories.Clean galley, all seats, seat back pockets, tray tables, and replace soiled magazines and sick bags.Conduct thorough security searches and submit all Lost and Found items to the immediate Supervisor.Review and adhere to safety instructions when operating and driving ground equipment.Always maintain company vehicles in a well-organized and clean manner; assist in pre and post operation inspections (POIs) of vehicles during the assigned shift.Review posted updates on Cabin Cleaning or Ramp Operations before each shift begins.Ensure all break room areas, warehouse areas, and dock areas are clean and free of debris.Perform duties in a consistently safe manner, ensuring no damage occurs to any company vehicles, airline vehicles/equipment and/or aircraft. Ensure actions do not cause injury to self, employees or agents working in common areas.Report any injury or property damage immediately to Shift Supervisor and provide written statements as requested regarding any such injury or damages.Immediately notify Shift Supervisor of any irregular activities that may impact service to airline partner(s).
    Additional Skills and Abilities:
    Must sign or clock in/out at the beginning and end of the scheduled shift.Proper uniform attire is required when reporting to work.Safety measures must always be taken including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during assigned shifts and as part of the uniform.Adhere to rules and regulations outlined in Employee Handbook at all times.Demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior to fellow employees, airline personnel, passengers, and other company employees working within the assigned area.Must be capable of reading and understanding flight schedule(s).Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.A valid driver's license is required by airport authority in order to operate a vehicle or equipment.Must be at least 18 years of age, have access to reliable transportation, and authorized to work in the United States.
