Event Transportation Manager
The Driver Provider, founded in 1997, is a premier provider of chauffeured transportation services for individuals, corporate clients and event professionals. This is an in-office position and will require availability when your event or group is operating, requiring some nights and weekends.
Our Meeting & Events department works with Event Planners, Destination Managers, Wedding Planners and Corporate Travel executives to craft chauffeured transportation plans for large events and conventions. We seek qualified applicants to work in this high-energy division of our growing company.
Ideal candidates should have past experience in Transportation, Hospitality and Customer Service. Excellent communication skills are a must as the position involves composing professional emails, on-site walk throughs, participating in video calls and telephone interaction with clients. Candidates should also be comfortable with windows-based software as well as standard business-suite programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Event Transportation Manager is responsible for account management, on-site transportation management, proposal writing, and contracting. Advancement opportunities are available in various sales and operational capacities.
What You’ll Do:
Design, modify, and implement chauffeured transportation programs in conjunction with the Operations team. Preparation of quotes and client engagement Match vehicles and personnel to client needs. Review bookings and follow-up confirmations Fielding inbound phone calls and emails requesting quotes and information Categorizing correspondence and prioritizing responses Ensure that trip supplies and requests such as amenities and signage are prepared Process deposits and payments as may be needed Nights and weekends working hours may be required based on business volume and on-site work is required when client groups and events are operating.The Must Haves:

Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure. Perform day-to-day dispatch services from the Control Center and various field locations. Maintenance and compliance of transportation vehicles and drivers. Develop/maintain the policies, procedures, and standards of operation to provide the company's scheduled shuttle transportation services. Investigate and resolve service and mechanical issues. Previous Project Manager experience with Passenger, fleet, or trucking transportation industry DOT knowledge. · Maintain a Class A, B or C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Airbrakes and Passenger Endorsement.
· Must be a minimum of 23 years of age.
· Have and maintain a clean driving record
· Pass a pre-employment and random drug tests
· Pass a federal background check
· Dress code is Jeans, Polo T shirts and Tennis Shoes
· Speak fluent English
· Ensure excellent customer service
While working as a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for the following:
· Work varied shifts
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
· Arrive at each designated location at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled trip
· Greet clients in a warm and welcoming manner
· Communicate respectfully and effectively with clients
Pre-Employment Physical:
Must undergo a pre-employment drug test and physical by a company appointed physician/facility and receive clearance.
Physical Working Conditions:
Position would spend time in a work site and field work in outdoor. Work may require prolonged sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities. Field work would require the ability to work outside in various weather conditions and actively enter or travel around in a vehicle. The position may also require the ability to lift, drag and push files, paper and documents weighing up to 35 pounds.
