The Designers Group is seeking interior designers to join our New York City office. We are a group of dynamic professionals who foster a vibrant and creative culture with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration. The successful candidate(s) should have experience with various building types in all stages of project development. He/she will need good management and organizational skills combined with a high level of design sensitivity and ability. The position requires communicating effectively and collaborating in an interdisciplinary, deadline-driven atmosphere.
Responsibilities include:
Execution of design and construction documents from Concept Design through Construction Documentation phases (ability to work in Revit, Rhino, and Dynamo preferred)Interact with and support project team members, including senior level design, technical, and management staffInteract with consultants on design and coordination issues.Qualifications:
Professional degree in Architecture or Interior or related programs.Minimum of 5 years of experienceStrong proficiency in AutoCAD & RevitProficiency in 3-D modeling software (Rhino and Sketch-Up)Proficiency in multiple rendering applications, including 3-D Studio Max, V-Ray, and InDesign preferredProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project website programsAbility to handle multiple deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor junior designers and collaborate with senior designersQualified candidates should submit a resume and several work samples in PDF format and the salary requested.
