    The Opportunity You will serve as the creative bridge between a homeowner’s vision and a stunning reality by guiding clients through the entire design and selection process. This role offers the autonomy to manage your own project portfolio while working closely with ownership to shape a growing brand known for quality and service. You will make a tangible impact on the daily lives of clients by designing functional, beautiful spaces that define the heart of their homes.

    How You Will Make an Impact

    Convert initial inquiries into successful projects by conducting professional showroom and in-home consultations.

    Develop functional design solutions for kitchens, baths, and specialized storage areas using advanced industry software.

    Guide clients through complex material selections including cabinetry, countertops, and finishes to meet aesthetic and budget goals.

    Prepare comprehensive project proposals and accurate estimates to ensure transparency and maintain high closing rates.

    Collaborate with vendors and installation teams to facilitate a seamless handoff from the design phase to physical execution.

    Maintain meticulous project documentation and measurements to prevent technical errors and ensure high-quality installations.

    Promote long-term brand loyalty by acting as a personable and confident primary point of contact for every client.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, interior design, or a related residential construction field.

    Proven ability to interpret client needs and translate them into practical, attractive design concepts.

    Strong technical proficiency and the willingness to master specialized design software and Microsoft Office.

    Excellent organizational skills necessary for managing multiple client timelines and detailed product specifications.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel to project sites and client homes.

    Preferred Qualifications & Experience

    Associate's Degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field of study.

    National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) or NKBA-related certifications.

    Direct experience using design software such as 2020, ProKitchen, SketchUp, or Chief Architect.

    Advanced knowledge of cabinetry construction, countertop materials, and residential remodeling workflows.

    About the Opportunity

    Hybrid Construction is looking for a Residential Framing Foreman / Lead Carpenter to help lead high-quality residential construction projects across North Idaho.

    This is not a narrow framing-only position. The right person will have strong residential framing experience and be comfortable working across exterior remodels, siding, roofing, windows, decks, structural framing, and custom home projects.

    You will lead field crews, solve problems on site, coordinate with project leadership, and help build a team that takes pride in doing work the right way.

    This is a strong fit for someone who wants more than a job. Hybrid Construction is growing, and this role can develop into a long-term leadership seat as the company expands into larger remodels, custom homes, and future turnkey residential projects.

    What You’ll Do

    Lead and support a residential construction crew in the field.

    Oversee framing, exterior remodel, and custom home project work.

    Read and interpret blueprints, plans, layouts, and structural details.

    Coordinate daily tasks, labor needs, materials, and jobsite priorities.

    Work closely with project leadership to keep jobs moving on schedule.

    Identify and solve field issues before they slow down the project.

    Maintain high standards for quality, safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.

    Train and mentor less-experienced crew members.

    Help build a positive crew culture based on honesty, respect, accountability, and pride in the work.

    Represent the company professionally with homeowners, team members, and trade partners.

    What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications

    Strong residential framing experience.

    Experience leading or helping lead a crew in the field.

    Ability to read and work from residential construction plans and blueprints.

    Working knowledge of general residential construction.

    Comfortable with exterior remodel scopes such as siding, roofing, windows, decks, and related carpentry.

    Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to keep crews productive while maintaining quality and safety.

    Valid Driver’s License.

    Ability to travel to project sites across the North Idaho service area.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Foreman, lead carpenter, or crew lead experience.

    Experience with custom homes, remodels, or high-end residential work.

    James Hardie siding, cedar accents, roofing, or exterior envelope experience.

    Finish carpentry or broad residential construction background.

    OSHA, fall protection, lift, or other safety training.

    Ability to review engineering details, site conditions, and project sequencing.

    5+ years of strong hands-on carpentry or framing experience.

    10+ years of experience is a plus, but not required if leadership and skill level are strong.
