Key Responsibilities:Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of engines, electrical systems, and generator controllers.

Three or more years of experience in commercial estimating, construction estimating, or a closely related role.Experience reading commercial construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.Working knowledge of estimating principles, labor production, materials, equipment, and project costs.Ability to prepare organized, accurate, and complete estimates.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with office, field, and leadership teams.Willingness to attend occasional project meetings and site visits throughout the Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and surrounding regional market.Proficiency with estimating software or the ability to learn PaintWorx systems quickly.Preferred Qualifications
Commercial painting or specialty-coatings estimating experience.Proficiency with PlanSwift.Experience working with Procore or a similar construction-management platform.Experience estimating epoxy flooring, concrete densifiers, sealers, wall coverings, or high-performance coating systems.Familiarity with mission-critical, data-center, airport, healthcare, education, government, retail, hospitality, or large commercial projects.Experience working in the Washington, DC metropolitan construction market.Familiarity with prevailing-wage or government-funded projects.Existing relationships with regional general contractors, customers, or industry partners.Interest in developing into broader preconstruction, project-management, or commercial leadership responsibilities.Prior hands-on painting experience is helpful but not required.
