This is more than a cashier role—it’s a hands-on leadership position where you’ll guide daily operations, support your team, and step in as the go-to leader when the Grocery Manager is not on shift.
About the Role
The Head Cashier works closely with the Grocery Manager to keep the front end running smoothly. You’ll balance customer service, team support, and operational execution in a fast-paced retail environment while helping the department meet performance goals.

Required
Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systemsStrong customer service skillsDependability, integrity, and accountabilityAbility to work 35+ hours per weekFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsPreferred
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail or groceryExperience training or coaching team membersStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskComfort with basic reporting and cash reconciliationFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and digital communication toolsSchedule & Work Environment
Full-time role (35+ hours/week)Requires standing and walking for most of the shiftInvolveslifting upto 50lbs, bending, and reachingWork may include exposure to varying temperaturesPay & Benefits
