    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRapidly growing Pediatric Practice is in search of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and/or Residents and Supervisees to work with our outpatient pediatric mental health center. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children and adolescents aged 4 to 21, experiencing a range of mild to moderate emotional and behavioral challenges, including oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, MDD, depression, and anxiety. The candidate will work with a team of Pediatricians and nurse practitioners to ensure the best possible outcome for our patients. If licensed, the candidate must be currently eligible/able to panel with all major insurance carriers. 
     Qualifications:

    Virginia License (LPC, LCSW)1 year of relevant program-specific experience work experience.Resident (RIC) or SuperviseeRequirements:

    Candidate must be eligible/able to panel with all major insurance carriers.Benefits:

    The Children’s Counseling Center of Fredericksburg is seeking a licensed therapist to join our growing team. This role is focused on providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and adolescents, with expanding services to include family and marriage counseling.

    Position Overview

    We are looking for a dedicated and skilled clinician with experience in pediatric trauma, family systems, and/or EMDR therapy. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children while also supporting families as a whole unit.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide individual therapy to children and adolescentsConduct family and/or marriage counseling sessionsUtilize evidence-based approaches, including trauma-informed care and EMDR (preferred)Develop and implement individualized treatment plansMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationCollaborate with providers and staff as part of an integrated care teamSupport a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients and familiesQualifications

    Active licensure in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)Experience in pediatric trauma strongly preferredTraining or certification in EMDR highly preferred, but not requiredExperience in family or marriage counseling preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer
