On Site Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor is responsible for the care, safety and security of the youth and staff who are working during the shift. This is accomplished by ongoing monitoring and response to program operations, client behavior and employee performance. The Supervisor helps to set a positive tone and therapeutic environment by identifying strengths, being trauma informed, educating employees, and holding people accountable to the duties on their job descriptions. The Supervisor establishes themselves as a leader and resource and is the conduit for all communications on the shift. The Supervisor promotes a team approach with Direct Care Workers, Teacher Assistants, Nurses, Clinicians, Teachers, Leadership, and the children being served.
The Supervisor reports directly to their department’s Director.

DIRECT CARE WORKER
POSITION SUMMARY: The Direct Care Worker is a role model and is responsible for the care and guidance of individuals. The nature of care varies to some extent in accordance with needs of individuals. QPC Visitation/Coaching Staff
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the QPC Program Manager, as part of the QPC team, the Visitation/Coaching staff assigned to Quality Parenting Center (QPC) will be responsible for supervising visits between biological parents/caregivers and their children. The supervised visits will be done in accordance with the QPC model endorsed by the DCF. Staff will be responsible for the pre/post meeting, the real-time coaching of parents, and all necessary documentation. The QPC is a community based service, using a parent empowerment model, serving DCF involved families who have had their children removed and placed in foster or relative/kinship care. The QPC is a supervised visitation model. The position requires considerable knowledge of child welfare/CPS practices, dynamics, legal issues, and support systems. Visitation/Coaching Staff will participate in all trainings provided by DCF for the QPC model.

Manager of Medical Billing/Accounts Receivable
POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of Medical Billing manages all functions of the organization’s billing and revenue cycle and develops effective workflows to maximize cash flow while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations. POSITION SUMMARY: The School Social Worker is responsible for providing clinical services and general case management as part of a treatment team for youth and families served by The Children’s Center of Hamden. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Maintenance is responsible for managing and directing the Maintenance Department. Duties entail supervising the maintenance staff and handling the daily overall operations of the facilities.
The Director will work with all departments at The Children’s Center of Hamden and will deal regularly with various vendors and outside contractors. The Director of Maintenance will make decisions regarding the daily functioning of the department and will obtain approval for major operational changes and financial expenditure. This individual shall be aware of and sensitive to the cultural diversity of the client population. The Director of Maintenance reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Accountable and responsible for the following results:
Proactively manage all aspects of facilities including maintenance, custodial, and security services.Responsible for overall management of the maintenance department, including the hiring, training, scheduling and performance evaluation of staff.Effectively manages union staff by understanding the terms and processes set forth in the collective bargaining agreement.Inspect campus daily to ensure facilities are maintained to standard. Oversee the functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of the facilities.Effectively maintains agency work order system.Develop strong relationships with outside contractors for regular maintenance and service contracts. Manage facilities budgets, including forecasting and approving maintenance expenses. Ensure cost-effectiveness of vendor services and supplies.Prepare monthly reports for department leaders and management.Oversee and ensures maintenance of grounds, lawn care, and snow removal.Develop and monitor policies and strategies to provide ongoing assessment and maintenance of a safe environment for youth and families served in program.Implements and maintains ongoing safety and security checks of equipment and regularly attends safety committee meetings.Responsible for ensuring that tools, machinery, and equipment are properly secure when not in use and not accessible to youth.Maintains all required agency mandatory training.Maintains appropriate personal boundaries with young people and families served at The Children's Center of Hamden.
