The Chief Engineer leads all engineering and maintenance operations across The Cavalier Resort’s multi‐property campus, ensuring every building, system, and guest‐facing area operates at the highest standards of safety, reliability, and luxury. This role oversees a team of Engineers and Supervisors, manages preventive maintenance programs, coordinates capital and RFR projects, and ensures compliance with PHR, brand, and regulatory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Engineering Operations Leadership — Direct daily maintenance activities, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life‐safety systems function efficiently.Property Inspections — Conduct routine AM/PM inspections across all resort buildings; identify issues, assign work orders, and verify completion.Preventive Maintenance Management — Develop and execute PM schedules for guestrooms, public spaces, pools, kitchens, and back‐of‐house systems.Team Supervision & Training — Lead, coach, and schedule Engineers I & II; ensure proper coverage, skill development, and adherence to safety protocols.Guest Service Response — Oversee timely resolution of guest maintenance requests to maintain luxury‐level satisfaction.Safety & Compliance — Enforce OSHA, fire‐life‐safety, and brand standards; conduct regular safety training and maintain documentation.Budget & Inventory Control — Manage departmental budgets, labor planning, purchasing, and monthly inventories.Project Coordination — Support and oversee RFR, renovation, and capital improvement projects; coordinate with contractors and vendors.Quality Assurance — Ensure all resort facilities meet PHR and franchise QA standards through consistent inspection and follow‐through.Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
