    Responsibilities/Duties:

    Administer building security access control procedures for all visitorsConduct monitoring utilizing CCTV, walking patrols and building management systemsSecure all exterior entry and exit pointsConduct good energy conservation practices such as turning off lightsCheck for proper operation of vital equipment, various other systems and lighting operationsCheck for alarms, hazards, spills, floods, and record any abnormal conditionsReceive and assist local emergency personnelMonitor 24 hour research operations and initiate appropriate responses to mitigate research/equipment facility lossMaintain daily logs and recordsParticipate in emergency drillsAnd other duties as assigned

    Required Skills:

    Clear background investigation. Clear driver’s license and have reliable transportation to workHigh level uniformed security professionalismMaintenance Documentation completion and filingCustomer Service SkillsProficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and familiar with CMMSExcellent Organizational skills

    Required Experience:

    Sufficient experience and knowledge of uniformed guard services

    Required Education:

    High School diploma or GED equivalent, with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC.OSHA certified and trained in the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirementsShall be proficient in brazing and soldering techniques
