JOB SUMMARY:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the electrical design of the assigned projects. Specifically, this position will utilize expert knowledge and skills in the design and engineering of electrical systems. This position is responsible for identifying and providing solutions to electrical engineering problems. The Electrical Engineer will initiate conceptual designs subject to the review and approval of the Engineering Manager, and Preconstruction Manager.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the electrical design, engineering, and specifications for the project.Organize the engineering effort required to facilitate the project from initial concept through completion.Make any adjustments to calculations, drawings, and specifications as required by the team lead electrical engineerMust be familiar with the project's scope of work, engineering hours budget, and construction budgetUtilize knowledge of best engineering practices, mathematics, materials, and other physical sciences to complete the drawings.Perform site surveys and equipment assessmentsProvide project engineering coordination during construction as assignedOther tasks assigned within the scope of this roleSUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES: None
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of three (3) years' electrical engineering experience, HVAC engineering experience with a professional engineering firm, automation contractor, or mechanical contractor engaged in MEP related or similar work desired.Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plus, but not requiredValid (real ID) driver's license and reliable transportationWillingness to travel to worksites, up to 25% of the timeKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Some outdoor work is required in the inspection of various land use developments, existing facility conditions, field work, construction sites, and public works facilities. The Commissioning Project Development Engineer is a unique hybrid role that combines technical commissioning expertise with client-facing project development.
